Phil Jagielka and Wayne Rooney, the two captains, have just done the toss with referee Andre Mariner. Some revealing quotes from "Jags" on Rooney from earlier in the week: "I speak to him all the time and he's always keen to know how we have got on - he's still a big Evertonian. Obviously he has an affiliation with Manchester United, he has been there a long time, he's the captain now, so you understand that - but he still loves the club."

Some interesting quotes here from Phil Neville on former Everton player Marouane Fellaini, who is having a great season at United: "I think it’ll be good for Fellaini to go back to Goodison now because he’s going back in a better of state of mind. He's in better form and I think he’s going there full of confidence. He’s got to go there enjoy the fact he’s playing really well for the club now and he had five great years at Everton too."

United are looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at Chelsea last weekend. Apart from that result, they have been one of the in-form sides in the League, winning five out of their last six games. With Arsenal hosting Chelsea later today, United are still very much in with a chance of finishing 2nd.
