That's full time. Arsenal looked like they were the better side in the opening stages of the first half, but collapsed when Southampton broke the deadlock. They were wretched in the second half, and Southampton deserved their second goal - Arsenal can count themselves lucky it wasn't more.

Ward-Prowse rises to a cross from the left, but he can't get enough power on his effort to beat Szczesny.

Yellow card for Gardos. He is through on goal, almost, until Gardos cleans him outside the box, and although a defender was also close, it could have been a red.

More garbage from Arsenal. Koscielny's backpass is dreadful, and Szczesny can't get out quickly enough, Tadic finds Pelle, and his shot is headed off the line by Debuchy.

The good news for Arsenal is that they've not conceded again.

Pelle hits the post. His run to the near post gets ahead of the defender, and his flick crashes off the post and into the path of Ward-Prowse who shoots just over.
