TEN MINUTES TO KICK-OFF: Arsenal have won 10 and lost just one of their 13 Barclays Premier League games against Crystal Palace, including winning the last six in a row.

Arsene Wenger: "I haven't decided yet on Mertesacker. We still have (time). We'll see. The reason (he hasn't played) is the competition for the same place with Gabriel and Koscielny and at the moment I've chosen them in front of him. It's a very tight choice: one (Gabriel) has more pace, one (Mertesacker) has more experience, more leadership qualities, so it depends sometimes against who we play. We have to give (Gabriel) a chance to develop as a player, and in training he has shown signs of developing well so I gave him a chance."

Arsenal will soon be able to call on the services of one Jack Wilshere for the run in. Can they catch Leicester?

Palace are also in need of a win as they are now just two places off the relegation zone after a shocking run of form that has seen them win just one of the their last ten games.

Arsenal still have a very outside chance of winning the league after Leicester 2-2 draw with West Ham but they have to win here today.

Arsene Wenger is considering recalling Per Mertesacker for Sunday's Premier League fixture with Crystal Palace in an attempt to defend against Emmanuel Adebayor's aerial threat.

Former Arsenal man Emmanuel Adebayor has to do with a spot on the bench so Connor Wickham leads Palace's line.
