Hello and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the Barclays Premier League clash between Arsenal and West Brom at Emirates Stadium.  The Gunners’ slim title hopes were all-but extinguished following their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend but they will be hoping to bolster their hopes of a top three finish with a victory over the Baggies that would see them leapfrog Manchester City in third. WBA are pretty much safe as they are 10 points clear of the drop zone and could move into 11th spot if they spring a surprise here. Kick off  7.45pm BST.

FT: Arsenal 2-0 WBA. A first-half double from Sanchez did the damage as Arsenal moved up to third, two points clear of Man City in fourth. Wenger needed the win and he got it in front of a somewhat subdued crowd.

Campbell with a ball into the area that was neither a shot or a cross. It floats harmlessly behind and West Brom look set to leave having shipped just the two.

SAVE! Brilliant build up play from Ramsey and Campbell sees the ball fed to Giroud in the area and crash a shot against the face of Foster. Great goalkeeping denies Arsenal the third.
87'
Ramsey rolls the ball into Campbell on the left who jinks towards goal and drops a shoulder before flashing a low shot just wide of the far post. Bright play from the substitute.

ARSENAL SUBS: A standing ovation for Sanchez as he is replaced by Walcott. Joel Campbell also gets a run out. He comes on for Ozil.

Yacob tries his luck with an audacious attempt from distance but it's nowhere near Cech's goal.

Another Arsenal change is imminent. Looks like Walcott as he is stripped and taking instructions off Bould.
84'
West Brom hacking the ball anywhere after Ramsey threatened off a one-two. Eventually they get lucky and it rebounds off an Arsenal shirt for a goal kick. It could have gone anywhere.

There's still time for Ozil and co to conjure up a third....

ARSENAL SUB: Iwobi replaced by Coquelin.
80'
Bellerin on the overlap down the right but once again the final ball is lacking for the hosts.
79'
Iwobi drifts into space just outside the WBA area but tries to dance beyond two challenges and gets challenged out of it. Frustration for the Gunners as they had a man over in the shape of Ozil.
78'
Ozil hangs a dangerous cross frm the left into the six-yard box but Olsson heads clear.
77'
Arsenal still pressing for a third. Pulis will be happier with the fight his side have put up in this second period but they've not really looked like troubling the home team.
75'
Another West Brom set piece is only half cleared to Evans who flashes a wayward shot miles off target.

BIG CHANCE WBA! A left wing corner is missed by Cech and he is grateful that Rondon can't convert on the stretch at the back post. The goal was gaping.
73'
Berahino looks to play a ball through for Rondon but the striker can't get there ahead of Koscielny.
