The atmosphere is lively at Stamford Bridge, with both sets of fans treating this like a day off. It's understandable from Chelsea's perspective, less so from City's.

The lack of defending in this game is a clue as to why the season hasn't quite gone as each club planned. The first task for both Guardiola and Conte is to tighten things up at the back.

It's been a bright start to the game with City having the better of the early exchanges.

City go close to taking an early lead as De Bruyne picks out Aguero on the break, only for the Argentine's shot to be blocked.

The game is underway, with City kitted out in their change lime green kit and Chelsea in their usual home colours.

The players emerge from the tunnel at Stamford Bridge and we're all set for kick-off in a game that should have been the highlight of the weekend but has turned into just a tasty accompaniment.

Chelsea on the other hand, are heading towards the dampest of all damp squibs. Anything other than a win today and they will be out of the reckoning for the top four and will only have pride and preparation for next season to play for.
