Should there not have been a red card too? Replays show Dembele appearing to eye gouge Costa during that melee. The Spurs midfielder has got away with one there - we need video technology to judge such decisions NOW.
There is, by the way, three minutes added on.

Willian booked too... but hang on.

So, so careless from Rose, who goes in late on Willian near the dugout, and now even Pochettino is out trying to calm things down. Cue what can only go down as the classic 'mass brawl' with around 20 players and staff involved on the sidelines.
It all ends in a booking for both Rose and Willian.

GOAL! SON MAKES IT TWO!
Leicester may well have to wait until Saturday! Spurs lead 2-0 after Eriksen picks out Son, who takes a sublime touch before stroking the ball under the onrushing Begovic.

Leicester are at home to Everton on Saturday, and that could prove to be a pivotal evening. Unless things change here!

WHAT A BLOCK! Very nearly 2-0 to Spurs, but Cahill flies across to block Lamela's effort before Son cannot quite catch the rebound cleanly.

Another flashpoint! This time it's between usual suspect Costa and Spurs' Vertonghen.
Need a replay to see what's gone on here...
Right. It's Vertonghen who's booked for tugging Costa's shirt, but the Chelsea striker reacts angrily and has his elbow basically leaning against Vertonghen's neck. No swing, no movement, and therefore no booking for Costa! Lucky man, he just needed to walk away there. But, you know, it's Costa.

That means, as it stands, the gap is down to five points...
Still - around an hour left here!

GOAL! KANE FOR SPURS!
Just what the visitors require... Kane times his run to perfection, and his first touch from Lamela's pass takes him around Begovic. All he has to do then is tap it in, and off he goes to the celebrate with the visiting fans...

SAVE! Lloris plays it careful and tips over a fierce Costa strike. The corner comes to nothing though as Spurs clear.
30'
OVER! Not a bad effort from Kane, whose free-kick from around 35 yards out wobbles about a yard over.
29'
WIDE! The ball falls kindly for Son about 25 yards out, and he has the time to take a few touches, but his effort is a poor one and won't trouble Begovic.
27'
SO CLOSE! Lovely build-up play from Chelsea, and it ends up with Fabregas side-footing an effort not even a yard wide of the far post.
Walker, meanwhile, is booked belatedly for his late challenge on Pedro in the build-up to that move. It had been coming...

Eriksen shoots well wide and we still await our first real chance of the match. It has been frenetic, but poor in the final third for both.
23'
CLOSE! Rose slips at the worst time, with a cross from Pedro evading the Spurs left-back - however, the slip does enough to put off Fabregas, and out comes Lloris to smother the ball.

The camera has just cut to this chap... As if Chelsea needed any more motivation to beat their city rivals - they'd be doing their old boss a huge favour.

Only 19 minutes in but already there have been more incidents of Clattenburg warning players than he would be used to in a whole game. This time, Walker pushes Azpilicueta and just has to calm the Spurs full-back down.
17'
Another talking to from Clattenburg, who gives Ivanovic a ticking off for his tackle on Rose. If it carries on like this, the yellows will be out very soon. That was reckless from Ivanovic, and lucky it was so bad that it didn't catch Rose!
16'
Low cross finds Fabregas but it ricochets back off him for a corner...
15'
Teasing cross from Fabregas but Spurs head clear. Chelsea look up for this one, and now Willian has won the hosts a corner...
14'
Rose is very late when catching Willian, who managers to hurdle the tackle but still goes down. Clattenburg just warns the left-back - that's already five fouls from Spurs to Chelsea's zero.
