Martinez will be happy to see how well Everton responded after McCarthy's second half sending off. Chances were few and far between for both sides but Barkley hit the crossbar early in the second half and Puncheon struck an effort straight at Robles. An entertaining stalemate.

Adebayor with the final chance of the game fails to get his head on the ball. Everton will be happy with a point here.

Baines crosses in for Mirallas who can't trap the ball. This game is heading for a goalless draw.

Barry takes out Cabaye with just minutes to go. That's a yellow card for Barry.

Cabaye and Coleman have had the joint most number of shots in the game (3 each).

Adebayor heads over. He's really made a difference but that chance was all about Puncheon. Skips past Mirallas - who just came off the bench for Everton.

Two quickfire chances for Wickham. The first one sees Stones block it and the second one goes over the bar.

Adebayor has a chance to shoot first time in the box, passes to Puncheon who gets it caught up in his feet.

Possession is 70-40 in favour of Palace, unsurprisingly. That red card has made a difference, yet they still haven't found the goal they need.

Nice counter attacking move from Everton results in a corner. Baines takes it and sees it cleared by Palace.

Zaha off, Sako on.

Adebayor has looked good since coming on. Involved in plenty of pass-and-moves with the likes of Cabaye and Puncheon.

Another excellent ball from Puncheon. This time he finds Adebayor who gets the wrong side of Stones to head past the post. He should have scored that.

General consensus among Everton fans seems to be 'Martinez out'. His players, especially McCarthy, haven't helped him so far.

More on that substitution: Lennon is apparently injured. Another blow for Everton at a crucial part of the season.

Lennon is hauled off by Martinez. On comes Oviedo who should provide Everton with added defensive cover.

Puncheon with magic feet there. He must have a foot like a traction engine! An excellent curling effort well saved by Everton's Spanish shot stopper.
