Bring on the big lad - Caulker replaces Milner for Liverpool.

CHANCE: Firmino, who maybe thought he was offside, fails to control a mishit Milner shot and de Gea is alert to nick the ball of the Brazilian's toes.

Benteke is unable to control Ibe's effort and another Liverpool chance goes begging.

Ibe runs out of space as he attempts a run into the left-hand side of the area.

It is another defending horror show from Liverpool, who have conceded seven times from corners in the Premier League this season.

The Sky cameras have just focused on Phil Jones going mad for Rooney's goal, in the Anfield Road stand with the United supporters!

Rooney has been isolated all afternoon, with Toure and Sakho outstanding. But the England striker was there when it mattered - though there were four Liverpool defenders standing around as Rooney pounced.

Klopp brings on Benteke to replace Toure, with Lucas going into the back four.

Rooney has now scored in four successive games for the club for the first time since March 2012. Rooney has also surpassed Thierry Henry's Premier League record of 175 goals for a single club, with that, his 176th United goal.

GOAL: Liverpool 0-1 Manchester United. Rooney nets the follow-up, after Fellaini's header from Mata's cross hits the bar from Blind's short corner.

The impressive Toure blocks a Martial effort and that is a fourth corner of the game for United.
