None of the top five have won here, but Spurs have to do just that to reignite their title tilt. Leicester dropped points yesterday, meaning only victory will do for Mauricio Pochettino's men in Staffordshire. I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

Will it be the only thing the Foxes better this season?

As it stands, the gap will be cut at the top to five points, but Spurs should be further in command in Staffordshire. Harry Kane's well-taken goal broke the deadlock, but Christian Eriksen missed a guilt-edged chance to double the title chasers' lead late in the half. Spurs were 2-0 up against Stoke at home and were pegged back earlier in the season, so they will be under no illusions that the job is done here.

Alli and Kane link-up superbly yet again, but Kane drags his effort wide. Such telepathy between the two Englishmen.

SHOULD BE TWO! Eriksen's strike comes back off the crossbar, but he really should have found the net, after being played in by a superb flick from Alli, in the clear, with only Given to beat.

Arnautovic breaks down the left, uses his pace to get clear of the Spurs defence, but from a tight angle, he scuffs across goal.

This man's goal still separates the sides and in truth, Kane has produced the only moment of any real quality.

Lamela gets a talking to from the referee and Stoke have a free-kick 40 yards from goal that is swung in, but Eric Dier clears. Spurs have defended set pieces really well.

Walker again offering a real outlet, breaks at breakneck speed, but his cross too close to Given. Has to do better.

CLOSE! Dembele lets fly from distance. He catches it really cleanly, and it just flies wide with Given scrambling to get across. Was some strike.

A few challenges fly in, but the referee is letting everything go, allowing the game to flow.

There's a chance for a Tottenham counter-attack after Muniesa's clearance ricochets off Eriksen, but Glenn Whelan is back on the cover with two Spurs players bearing down

So much better from Stoke, they are pressing all the time here, and have the fans firmly behind them.

Xherdan Shaqiri's cross is deflected out to Bojan, who has time, but elects to shoot first time, and gets it all wrong, and fires well over the top.

SAVE! Hugo Lloris to the rescue for Spurs, beating away a fierce Arnautovic strike after the Austrian had thrown a perfect dummy to make room for the shot.

Cameron clips an accurate ball into the middle, which Toby Alderweireld does superbly to head out for a corner, with Bojan lurking with intent.

So poor from Stoke. Arnautovic is not in this, leaving Bojan very isolated up front.

Still a rather subdued evening so far. Stoke have plenty to play for, but they lack any real intensity for some reason.
