Luke Shaw opened his goalscoring account - in his entire career - in Manchester United's opening Premier League match against Leicester City, and fans could not believe it.

United fans were overjoyed; Leicester fans could not believe their misfortune; and fans of every other team just seemed to find it hilarious.

The former Southampton left-back has endured a torrid time since arriving at Old Trafford but appears to have finally endeared himself to Jose Mourinho.

He certainly endeared himself to the United fans on Friday evening as he produced a shockingly clinical finish to double the hosts' lead in the final stages of the match.
