GOAL! Everton 4-0 Manchester City. Lookman scores - All that arguing from Guardiola has paid off. Lookman has his goal. Stones gives away the ball near his goal, kicking it at Coleman. It bounces straight to Lookman and he finishes at the near post. Robles comes up to celebrate. The whole team are in the corner.
They might be Paddy Power, but they have a point which is for once not based in some kind of bigotry.
- Yellow cardNicolás OtamendiManchester City
Otamendi hurls himself to the ground when he chests into Lukaku. They're both booked, and complete clowns.
There will be four minutes of added time.
- OffRoss BarkleyEverton
- OnAdemola LookmanEverton
Barkey comes off for Lookman to make his debut.
Barkley looks to keep the ball, but gives it away with a lazy pass and has to win it back.
Bravo has been woeful this season, and while none of these goals were his fault today, this will hardly help. Nonetheless, Joe Hart is also a poor 'keeper.
Can City grab four goals from here?
Sterling went in over the top on Davies there, which is pretty pathetic stuff. Lukaku then has a chance in the box, from a tight angle after a superb, rolled pass from Barkley into his feet, and he fires wide.
Sterling and Davies have a row with one another, and now Aguero and Williams come together to exchange pleasantries. Aguero is *such* a hardman now.
Poor Manchester City.
Lukaku almost got a touch to the ball as it crossed the line. I think most people will hope it didn't get a touch from him. At the other end, Aguero fires from a tight angle at Robles.
- GoalTom DaviesEverton
GOAL! Everton 3-0 Manchester City. Davies scores - He picks up the ball from deep. Driving towards goal, he uses a Ronaldo-style flick inside to find room, and passes to Barkley inside. Barkley releases the ball back to him swiftly, and he dinks the ball over Bravo.
Toure's free kick curls slowly towards the top corner, and Robles claims without duress.
Sterling flicks the ball away from Schneiderlin, who kicks him in the shin. Free kick, 25 yards out, to the left of the D.
- Yellow cardDavid SilvaManchester City
The incredibly average David Silva is booked for a late lunge on Davies.
Everton chase City all the way back to Bravo, and De Bruyne clutches an ankle from a Barkley challenge. Everton have been so much better than City today, and not especially good themselves.
- OffGareth BarryEverton
- OnJames McCarthyEverton
Barry outmuscles Iheanacho and draws the foul to keep the ball. Barry is swapped for McCarthy, and gives the captaincy to Baines.
Aguero drills a low shot at the far corner from distance, but Robles beats it away at full strength.
Everton are preparing a substitute. I don't know which, though.
Sagna is down, clutching his leg. The doctors come over to have a look.
Has any player got away with such substandard performances more than David Silva?
Wayne Rooney, yes.
Barkley is brought down in midfield by Otamendi, but there's no card shown.
Stones miskicks in the corner and Lukaku robs him. He blasts a pass to Funes Mori. It comes back to him, but his cross is as bad as Toure has been.
Yaya Toure is on the pitch! He's not been subbed on, he's just been terrible.
- OffKevin MirallasEverton
- OnMorgan SchneiderlinEverton
The handsome Schneiderlin is on for the handsome Miralllas.
Barry just hoofs the ball miles away from the box. They look like they're going to take 30 minutes of City possession and hope for the best. Understandable against Barcelona and Bayern, but not this shower. Robles collects a cross with Iheanacho close to connecting.
- OffPablo ZabaletaManchester City
- OnKelechi IheanachoManchester City
Iheanacho comes on for Argentine Pablo Zabaleta.
Corner on the left wing for City. De Bruyne's corner is cleared into touch in City's half. There's half an hour of this to go, and City don't look especially dangerous, nor particularly awful.
Davies concedes another foul, this time on the left hand side of the box. Silva and De Bruyne stand over it, and De Bruyne's free kick is headed out by Lukaku.
Impressive work from Richard AJ Keys.
Mirallas goes down, clutching his leg, after a tackle from Zabaleta. He caught him slightly, the studs into the back of his ankle, but it seemed like an accident of how his legs met, more than anything malicious. This isn't the hardman Aguero, after all.
Stones completely misses a cross from the free kick. The Everton fans cheer his misfortune.
- Yellow cardMason HolgateEverton
Holgate brings down Sterling on the left wing, and wins a yellow card.
Barkley then takes down Zabaleta on the other side of the pitch. It's a free kick on the left hand side, relatively central. Silva prods it to De Bruyne, then bends it to the back post for Stones. He heads it straight at Robles.
Barkley runs across Otamendi just over the halfway line, and gives away a free kick.
Bravo flicks a pass over to Stones, an amazing moment in football history.
De Bruyne slips in Sterling with a reverse pass, but he can't keep it in play before releasing a cross.
The thing about Manchester City is that they still have a lot of mediocrity.
Pep looks fed up.
- GoalKevin MirallasEverton
GOAL! Everton 2-0 Manchester City. Mirallas scores - Manchester City's defence is absolutely terrible. Lukaku's pass is cut out by Stones, but that takes him out of position when Lukaku takes it back up, slips in Mirallas, and the winger has room to strike across the 'keeper.
- 2nd Half
We go again. De Bruyne fires wide.
- End of 1st Half
That's half time. See you in 15 minutes, when Guardiola will be looking to invert the deficit.
Robles seems OK, a touch dazed. There will be at least two minutes of this.
Nothing from the corner, but Baines then slips in Mori to cross, and his ball inside is picked out by Bravo. He launches it long as Aguero and Sterling break. The ball into De Bruyne lets him cushion it inside, but Robles takes, and then gets clattered by Williams.
Lukaku chases a Barry pass over the top, he tries to dart past Otamendi into the middle of the area, but Otamendi sticks out a leg to tackle and concede a corner.
Lukaku is again sold short by his teammates, when Barkley underhits a pass towards him.
Oliver Kay hits you with the research.
Bravo claims a cross that was too close to the 'keeper, while Lukaku was again waiting for the error. Funes Mori given a warning by Clattenburg for a foul on Aguero.
Stones times his jump well to cut out a ball aimed at Lukaku.
Aguero slides agonisingly close to De Bruyne's pass across the box. Everton clear for a corner, but Aguero had fouled Funes Mori in the build up. The corner comes out to Sterling, who lashes a volley just wide of the top corner.
There's scramble in the box when Mirallas's cross finally drops to Baines, but City manage to get it away.
Corner for City on the right. De Bruyne takes, Stones glances it away from goal.
- GoalRomelu LukakuEverton
GOAL! Everton 1-0 Manchester City. Lukaku scores - Davies slips in Mirallas behind the defence on the inside right, he takes one touch to find Lukaku beside the penalty spot, and he passes in a shot, close to a wrong-footed Bravo.
Zabaleta, Sterling and De Bruyne pace towards goal. Sterling releases Zabaleta, who whips it across for De Bruyne in space, just outside the box, but the flag goes up.
Everton play the ball across midfield, and Coleman forces a clearance to win a throw on the right, high up the pitch.
Everton repel the free kick, but City keep the ball in defence.
Davies trips Silva as he comes towards goal, and it's a free kick about 25 yards out. Davies is probably one foul from a yellow.
Silva is found at the back post, free, by De Bruyne, but Robles rushes out to block, and Silva can't engineer another shot when he wins it back.
An angled pass over the top finds Sterling's run, but he cushions his shot at Robles to be easily saved.
Silva's low free kick is rubbish, and Williams punts it out.
Holgate tangles legs with Aguero just on the edge of the box - a chance for City here.
Mirallas whips a ball into Lukaku, but it bends just behind him.
Almost halfway through the half, and City are the most impressive so far. They're not dominant, though, but once they had their first against West Ham that was enough.
City play out of the back of defence, Bravo showing off a dreadful first touch. Incredible just how much Guardiola is changing how we see 'keepers.
Quick passes fro City end when Aguero can't keep hold of a fizzed pass into feet from De Bruyne.
Another ball along the ground, into the area from De Bruyne but Williams slides in to cut it out and away.
More Everton possessiion now, but they're aiming too many passes behind the defence to keep hold of it.
Sterling is played through on goal by De Bruyne. He could hit it first time, but takes a touch to try to get between Robles and Baines, and takes a tumble. There's no penalty, but it probably should have been.
Barkley drives out to the left, and his cross inside for Lukaku hits Zabaleta and goes out for a corner on the left wing. Barkley takes short
Everton think they've scored. Lukaku flicks a pass round the corner for Coleman - he and Mirallas are offside - and Coleman squares it to Mirallas for an empty net. The linesman says, 'NON!'
Baines slides in Barry on the left, but he slices a cross towards, and then behind the touchline, as it doesn't curl back towards the strikers.
Aguero is caught offside - is that a hint of his growing indiscipline? No.
Davies catches Sterling late in midfield, but he gets away without a yellow.
Sagna plays it inside for Aguero, but he's dispossessed. Barry hits a firm, low ball towards the City goal, but Lukaku can't pick it up.
Funes Mori hits a ball over the top for Barkley on the inside left, but he's a fraction offside.
Robles punts a pass forward out of his area and to the City defence.
City play the ball about in defence. The way that Guardiola is revolutionising this game is just mesmerising.

As Sky Sports said many years ago: here we go here go this is it.
It's five minutes to kick-off, so here's my prediction: 8-0 to Everton. Let me know yours at @lxndrnthrtn.
John Stones has said that his first priority for the rest of the season is to 'score more goals, obviously.' No, John Stones, it shouldn't be that. You're not Steve Bruce.
There's fifteen minutes before kick-off. Let me know your predictions and comments at @lxndrnthrtn. Please don't swear.
Here's the morning rumours.
Here's our round-up for yesterday's fixtures.
Manchester City have made no new signings in the window yet, and Gabriel Jesus is not yet in the squad. Yaya Toure, Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, David Silva and Sergio Aguero are the ones responsible for smashing six past Joel Robles today.
Massive team news for Everton, as they play their first league game without being able to call on the Basingstoke Xavi. Tom Cleverley is now resident on Watford's bench, as Ronald Koeman attempts to raise standards at the club, one player at the time. To that end, Morgan Schneiderlin has been added from Manchester United at a cost of £22 million. He, along with other new signing Ademola Lookman, is on the bench.
