Lallana with another shot from distance, but it takes a deflection and in the end it's easy for Guzan.
Liverpool look like they have more goals in them. Sturridge tires to squeeze a pass through for Coutinho but it was eye of a needle stuff and Boro have a goal kick instead.
Definitely a sense of celebration and enjoyment in the Anfield air now.

HT: Liverpool 1-0 Boro. Wijnaldum's late drive has changed the complexion of the afternoon after the Reds looked to have suffered some stage fright. Already relegated Boro will feel they should have had a spot kick at 0-0 when Lovren bundled over Bamford. As it stands, Liverpool will finish fourth with Arsenal missing out on the final CL place.
- GoalGeorginio WijnaldumLiverpool
GOAL! Wijnaldum takes Firmino's delightful pass round the corner and breaks into the right of the area before rasping a rising shot in at the near post. Relief for Liverpool.

Bamford relishing this match. He can sense the fear in those Liverpool defenders. He tries to wriggle free on the right touchline but has no support. Boro giving it a real go in their last match in the PL.
It's now 4-0 to Man City and 10-man Arsenal still lead Everton 2-0. Liverpool are fifth as it stands. Are they going to blow it?
PHOTO: Firmino shields the ball from a stubborn Boro defence.
Mignolet forced to punch Leadbitter's corner clear. Anfield is anxious.
Elsewhere, Man City are pretty much sure of third spot. Aguero has made it 3-0 to the Citizens at Watford. Meanwhile, Liverpool are nervy. Lovren hoofs a loose ball out for a corner after Bamford had caused more concern in the Reds area.
This man has done well for Boro today. He'll feel he should have had a penalty too.

LATEST: Arsenal 2-0 Everton. The 10-man Gunners are doing their job. Liverpool can't expect any more favours today. They need to up their game if they want CL football next season.
An ex-Red reckons it was a nailed on penalty.
Replays of that penalty incident show Lovren's arms on Bamford outside the area at first. Still, it looked like a penalty and it's potentially a massive moment in the context of the top four.
Downing with a tidy cross towards Gestede, but the big man's header flies wide.
Elsewhere, City are 2-0 up at Watford.

A few anxious faces in the stands at Anfield. Early days of course.
BIG GOAL ELSEWHERE. Arsenal lead at home to Everton. That means LFC are currently fifth as it stands...
Liverpool yet to win at Anfield since this man's injury. They need that to change here if they are to achieve their CL hopes.
As it stands, City will finish third with Liverpool fourth and Arsenal fifth. The Reds would go into the play-offs of the CL with City straight into the group stage.
CHANCE! Milner gets free down the left and sends in a probing cross that drops to Clyne on the far side of the area. The right back takes a touch but lashes his shot well wide.
Elsewhere, Vincent Kompany has given third-placed Mn City the lead at Watford.
All Liverpool early on.
Coutinho almost conjures up a chance for Sturridge inside the six-yard box. However, the Brazilian's dangerous cross is just about nodded to safety by Chambers.
Will we have finale day drama or will this be routine for Liverpool? It usually is against this afternoon's opposition. Middlesbrough are one of three teams to visit Anfield on 10+ occasions in the Premier League without leaving with all three points (Sunderland – 16, Middlesbrough – 14 and Bolton – 13).
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! Liverpool get this contest underway wearing their new home kit for next season. The big question is whether it will be appearing in the Champions League in 17-18?
HOPE FOR BORO? All six of Liverpool’s Premier League defeats this season have been against sides currently outside the top seven, with their two home defeats coming against 17th placed Swansea and 13th placed Crystal Palace.
WILL LIVERPOOL RUE THE ABSENCE OF THEIR MAIN MAN-E? The Reds have not won at Anfield since Sadio Mane was injured in the Merseyside derby last month.
STAT: Liverpool are unbeaten against Middlesbrough in their last 21 league games at Anfield (W15 D6); only against Stoke (32), Nottingham Forest (23) and Notts County (22) are the Reds on a longer current unbeaten at home in the league.
PREVIOUSLY: Liverpool won 3-0 at the Riverside back in December. However, the last time the sides met at Anfield was in the League Cup two seasons ago. The match finished 2-2 and the Reds triumphed 14-13 on penalties. You have to go back to 2008 for the previous league meeting in L4 when late, late goals from Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher's turned what looked like a 1-0 loss into a 2-1 victory. Kopites will be hoping they don't have to wait for such last-gasp drama today.
Boro coach, Steve Agnew: "We do all our coaching and analysis to set the team to go to Anfield and put in a top-class performance for our away supporters. Anfield’s an amazing stadium, and there will be a full house and a wonderful atmosphere. It’s a great game for us to play in. Liverpool need to win, and I know speaking to the players everyone’s looking forward to it."
DID YOU KNOW? Already relegated Middlesbrough have attempted the fewest shots in total (342) and shots on target (97) this season in the Premier League. The last side to attempt under 100 shots on target in a single Premier League season were Stoke City (94 in 38 games) back in 2011-12.
Should Liverpool drop to fifth come 4.50pm BST this afternoon, Klopp is still confident the progress made this season will be enough to persuade some of his targets it is still worth a move: "Even from outside Liverpool always looked a massive club. Chelsea has the money, Man City is now coming up - wonderful players, big signings - Man United is Man United, but we are a really interesting project. Everyone can see from outside. The mood is different, a few people are different, but the base is there. It is still the power and size of this club and then the perspective and that has changed, we feel it in the talks (with players). They have to see it, they have to feel it and they have to make a decision."
Jurgen Klopp's programme notes.
Chelsea and Tottenham have wrapped up the first two Champions League spots - but who will get the last two? It's down to Man City, Liverpool or Arsenal. Here's Eurosport's breakdown on today's action and a prediction on who is going to miss out.
Liverpool should be wary of selling Daniel Sturridge, writes Alex Hess, because he could be the solution to their poor performances this season.
The one change from the 4-0 win at West Ham means Daniel Sturridge plays back-to-back league games for the Reds for the first time since facing Leicester and Chelsea back in September. His last Anfield start came in the League Cup semi-final versus Southampton while in the league it was Manchester United in mid-October.

The Merseysiders have their destiny in their own hands; if they win they will play Champions League football next season. It promises to be an intriguing afternoon and all gets underway at 3pm BST.
