Enrique wants £200m Arsenal overhaul

We start with an exclusive from The Sun which says Luis Enrique would want £200 million to spend in the transfer market if he were to take over Arsenal. Enrique reportedly wants to bring in new players in every area except for attack.
Paper Round's view: Given what we have heard in the past few days about Arsenal cutting back on their spending this seems unlikely. Admittedly, Enrique may well want this much money to spend but it's hard to see Arsenal granting that request.

United and Spurs to battle for Sessegnon

In The Times it is reported that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will do battle for Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon in the summer. The 17-year-old is the sixth-highest scorer in the Championship this season with 15 goals and has been a revelation since pushing forward to play as a left-winger. However, despite this, both clubs see him as a left-back. It is also mentioned that Sessegnon would prefer to stay in London.
Paper Round's view: Sessegnon is a hugely exciting talent, so much so that there is talk that he could be taken to the World Cup. Regardless, Sessegnon needs to go somewhere he will play regularly. If Fulham do go up surely he would be best off staying at Craven Cottage for one more year?

Chelsea press on with transfer plans

In The Mirror there is a report that says that Chelsea will press on with their transfer plans despite the uncertainty over their manager. Antonio Conte is expected to leave but the Blues are unclear over who will take over. However, the report says the club's owner Roman Abramovich will push the club forward with their transfer plans, including the signature of Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri.
Paper Round's view: This almost makes sense? Chelsea are a club where the manager changes every couple of years so it is probably better for the club to have a hierarchy in place that can operate on transfers and look to long-term things, and then leave the manager to the coaching. Even still it would probably be better to have some more stability. Wouldn't it?

Puel fighting for job as club make summer plans

In The Telegraph it is reported that Claude Puel is fighting for his future as Leicester City manager. After an initially bright start Leicester have fallen away under the Frenchman and there have been reports about unease and tension over his methods. The club are intent on spending big in the summer but they want to be sure that Puel is the right manager to take them forward.
Paper Round's view: To fall out with most people at a club once is careless but to do it twice...? It's hardly a good look for Puel. Leicester's managerial record over the past few seasons doesn't look great and it's not surprising they want some stability. It doesn't seem like Puel is the man to bring that.
