Dimitri Payet: I was a ****head at West Ham

Marseille playmaker Dimitri Payet has admitted that he was a "****head" in order to engineer his transfer to France when at West Ham.
The 30-year-old joined West Ham in 2015 from Ligue 1 club Marseille and quickly became a fans' favourite, scoring 12 goals in 38 appearances.
His excellent form saw him included in France's 2016 World Cup squad, and earned him a new, £125,000-a-week contract with the Hammers in February of the same year.
However, in January 2017, Payet made it clear he no longer wanted to play for the club and failed to appear for training, and was ultimately transferred back to Marseille for £25m.
In an interview with French magazine So Foot, Payet said he had left West Ham manager Slaven Bilic little option with his behaviour:
“I know how to be a d**khead.
“It’s one of my specialties. It’s a little game. When I want to p*ss everyone off, I do it.
My managers understood that: when I sulk, they talk to me. It’s a way for me to be heard. Those who know me play along, and in the end it goes well.
“[Bilic] managed me like a father. We spoke every day. He quickly understood how I worked.
“You saw that straight away in how quickly I adapted. He’s a cranky guy. He’s from Croatia… he can shout, but he’s good at man-management.”
Payet has scored five goals in 20 appearances in his second spell at Marseille.
