A job well done for Liverpool. There was a bit of tension early on at Anfield, but that soon ebbed away, with Klopp's side putting on a rampant performance to secure a top four finish in the Premier League. Now, they will prepare for the Champions League final against Real Madrid in two weeks' time. A good domestic season for Liverpool.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Liverpool 4-0 Brighton. LIVERPOOL FINISH FOURTH!
Two minutes of stoppage time to be played at the end of the match.
Liverpool now have 84 goals in the Premier League this season, meaning that only champions Manchester City have scored than them this season. So dangerous in the final third.
Firmino and Salah have grabbed the headlines for Liverpool this season, but Robertson has made a huge impact at Anfield since moving from Hull last summer. What a signing.
- GoalAndrew RobertsonLiverpool
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Liverpool 4 (85 mins - Andy Robertson) Brighton 0. Robertson has broken his Liverpool duck! Ings gets to the byline, crosses into the centre. The clearance falls to the Scottish left back and he fires home from inside the box.
Salah really didn't want to come off! He looked gutted. That just shows you how desperate he is to score goals. Or maybe he knows that Kane has scored twice at Wembley...
- OffMohamed SalahLiverpool
- OnBen WoodburnLiverpool
And the second change sees Salah come off and he is replaced by Woodburn.
- OffRoberto FirminoLiverpool
- OnDanny IngsLiverpool
Two changes for Liverpool. It's Firmino who comes off for Ings.
It's somewhat surprising that Salah is still on the pitch. He probably has the Golden Boot secured and Liverpool need him to be fully fit for the Champions League final in two weeks.
That goal for Kane means that the Spurs striker is now just two goals off Salah's tally for the season in the Premier League. Is the race for the Golden Boot still alive? Perhaps.
ANOTHER GOAL AT WEMBLEY! Liverpool are back down to fourth place! Kane has scored Spurs' fifth goal of the afternoon and they now lead 5-4 against Leicester City.
Of course, if Liverpool were to beat Real Madrid in Kiev in two weeks' time then they will qualify for the Champions League that way. But in case they lose, a top four place matters.
Liverpool can now just stroll through the rest of this game. The match as a contest has lost some of its life in the past 15 minutes or so. The Reds know that the job is done.
There's been another goal at Wembley! Vardy has scored another for Leiceister City and it's not 4-4 between Spurs and the Foxes. Liverpool still in contention for third place.
Lallana's first involvement in the match sees him getting a ticking off from the referee. The midfielder went into a challenge with Stephens with his foot a little higher than necessary.
- OffSadio ManéLiverpool
- OnAdam LallanaLiverpool
Here comes Lallana. He's on for the final 15 minutes and he replaces Mane.
Indeed, it looks like Liverpool are going to make their first change of the match with Lallana getting stripped and ready on the bench. Too late for him to secure a World Cup place? Err, probably...
- OffShane DuffyBrighton & Hove Albion
- OnConnor GoldsonBrighton & Hove Albion
One final change for Brighton, with Duffy coming off for Goldson. Not a great day for Duffy.
Surely Klopp is going to make some changes here? This game is won, Liverpool's place in the top four is secure and they have a Champions League final to look forward to.
Ryan had to be on his toes there! The Brighton goalkeeper had to control a nightmare of a back pass, but the Australian did well and made the clearance. That could have gone badly.
IT'S NOW THREE! Well, I think we can well and truly discount the challenge Chelsea were putting up. They are now losing 3-0 to Newcastle United and that's their top four hopes over.
That goal for Spurs means that, as things stand, Liverpool will finish fourth. There's no danger that Klopp's side will drop out of the top four, though. They are in complete control.
There's been another goal at Wembley and Spurs have completed the fightback to score a fourth and take the lead against Leicester. What did they give the players at half time?!
Lallana has been sent to warm up by Klopp. The England international has suffered a really difficult season, but he could see some action as Liverpool see out this match.
ANOTHER GOAL IN NEWCASTLE! The Magpies have taken a 2-0 lead over Chelsea at St James' Park and that should just about do it for Liverpool to finish in the top four.
FIRMINO SHOULD SCORE! Schelotto makes a mess of a clearance, giving Firmino a golden chance 10 yards out. But he shoots straight at Ryan, who palms over his crossbar.
- OffJürgen LocadiaBrighton & Hove Albion
- OnGlenn MurrayBrighton & Hove Albion
.... and the second change sees Locadia come off for Murray.
- OffBeram KayalBrighton & Hove Albion
- OnPascal GroßBrighton & Hove Albion
It's a double change for Brighton. It's Kayal who comes off for the away side...
In other news, it's been madness at Wembley since the start of the second half. Leicester City went 3-1 up and now Spurs have pulled it back to 3-3! That could have an impact on where Liverpool finish.
Robertson was very nearly in behind the Brighton defence there. The Scottish left back has yet to score for Liverpool, but Ryan did just enough to put him off the ball.
That was a nice moment for Solanke. The young striker has struggled for goals since making the move to Liverpool from Chelsea, but Klopp has shown faith in him this afternoon.
- GoalDominic SolankeLiverpool
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Liverpool 3 (53 mins - Dominic Solanke) Brighton 0. Liverpool have a third and Solanke has his first Premier League goal! Salah runs forward on the break, sets up he young striker for the shot and he makes no mistake in firing high into the roof of the net, off the underside of the bar!
VAN DIJK CHANCE! That was an opportunity for the Dutch centre back. Wijnaldum crossed the ball back into the box after a corner kick, but his scuffed effort was straight at the keeper.
FIRMINO TAKES AIM! The Brazilian number nine wins the ball in the Brighton half, turns, drives towards goal and shoots, but Ryan does well to make the diving save to stop a third goal.
As I said towards the end of the first half, it will be interesting to see if Klopp takes off some of his key plaers in this second half should things stay this comfortable for Liverpool.
Spurs are also losing at home to Leicester City after the first half. That means that as things stand, Liverpool will finish in third place in the Premier League table. As things stand.
So it would take a remarkable turnaround for this afternoon to turn sour for Liverpool. Brighton need to come back from 2-0 down to win, and Chelsea need to fight back to beat Newcastle, for Liverpool to miss out on the top four.
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! Liverpool are 2-0 up against Brighton.
What did you make of the first half at Anfield? Is there any way back for Brighton after the opening 45 minutes? How many can Liverpool rack up in this form? Tweet me!
- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Liverpool 2-0 Brighton. A very solid first half from the Reds. Brighton haven't been able to cope with their movement and threat in the final third of the pitch. More goals to come?
It will be interesting to see if Klopp takes off some of his key players in the second half if things remain this way. Of course, Liverpool have another game to prepare for...
The signing of Van Dijk in January was viewed as a watershed moment for this Liverpool team, but the contribution of Lovren in the second half of the season should be noted.
That goal reflects the way Liverpool have played in this first half. They have been by a long, long way the better of the two teams. They could have had four or five goals by now.
- GoalDejan LovrenLiverpool
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Liverpool 2 (40 mins - Dejan Lovren) Brighton 0. There's a second for Liverpool and it reflects their dominance! Lovren gets on the end of a cross from Robertson and the big Belgian heads home from about six yards out. Great jump from Lovren!
Liverpool just need to be careful that they don't waste too many scoring opportunities here. They could have had three or four in this first half. They could be made to rue that.
FIRMINO OVER THE BAR! Liverpool were lining up to put that ball in the back of the net. Mane, Salah and Firmino link up inside the box, but the latter blasts the ball over the bar.
WIJNALDUM THROUGH! Good play from Liverpool to slide through the Dutch midfielder. The shot from Wijnaldum wasn't a bad one, but Ryan got down well to make the save.
It's difficult to overstate just how big an impact Salah has made on this Liverpool team this season. Is this the best individual season we have seen from an EPL player since the Ronaldo days?
Liverpool now look to be enjoying themselves in the Merseyside sunshine. That opening goal has liberated them, freed them of any tension, and they could score a few more here.
SHOULD BE TWO! What a chance for Liverpool to double their advantage. Mane and Salah were clean through, the former sets up the latter, but the pass was weak and Ryan makes the save. Sitter.
So because Leiciester City are beating Spurs that means, as things stand, Liverpool are in third place in the Premier League table. This could be a very good afternoon for the Reds.
Anfield has now found its voice. There was a tension around the famous old ground in the opening 20 minutes or so, but Liverpool are playing with confidence now. Swagger.
Credit to Liverpool. They had been knocking on the door for quite some time and they finally found a way through. Salah grabs his 32nd goal of the Premier League season.
- GoalMohamed SalahLiverpool
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Liverpool 1 (26 mins - Mohamed Salah) Brighton 0. Salah has given Liverpool a valuable lead! Solanke plays a ball around the corner for the Egyptian, who turns and hits the shot first time, finding the bottom right corner of the Brighton net!
That was a chance for Liverpool to whip a freekick delivery right on top of the Brighton defence, but the cross was poor and the away side had no trouble in clearing the danger.
So if Newcastle were to beat Chelsea this afternoon then it wouldn't matter what the result at Anfield is, Liverpool would secure a top four finish. Do the players know the score?
NEWS FROM ST JAMES' PARK! Newcastle United have taken the lead through Gayle against Chelsea. That's very good news from a Liverpool perspective. That's what they want.
Things are just starting to get on top of Brighton at the moment. Liverpool are piling the pressure on the away side and surely it's only a matter of time until that tells on the scoreline.
Boos ring round Anfield after the end of an attacking move. The home fans can't believe that their team hasn't been awarded a penalty kick, and they definitely have a case.
RYAN STOPS MANE! That should have been the opening goal for Liverpool! Mane was released clean through on the Brighton goal, but Ryan stands up tall to make the save from close range!
ANOTHER PENALTY CALL! It's Duffy again! This time he slides in on Salah and cleans out the Egyptian inside the box. That's a clear penalty, but the referee didn't see it. How?
There's a real end of season vibe to this match at Anfield today. That might concerning to Klopp. Liverpool still need a result here to make sure they're in the Champions League next season.
In other top four news, Leicester City have just regained the lead against Spurs at Wembley. Mahrez has just put the Foxes 2-1 up. That could have an impact on how the top four finishes.
Dunk and Duffy have probably been Brighton's best two players this season, but the former has endured a difficult opening 15 minutes of this match. He looks very error prone.
Liverpool have started this match the better of the two teams, they have had a couple of penalty claims, but they have yet to create much in the way of scoring chances in attack.
ANOTHER HANDBALL? Knockaert looked to bring the ball down using his arm right on the edge of the penalty area! That's two strong Liverpool handball claims in two minutes!
BIG PENALTY CLAIM! Liverpool feel that they should have had a spot kick and they have a strong case! The cross smacked off Duffy's arm as he went to make the header.
DUFFY GETS AWAY WITH ONE! The Brighton defender makes a mess of a back pass, allowing Solanke to nip in. However, the Liverpool striker couldn't round the goalkeeper. Chance.
The other thing that is on the line for Liverpool this afternoon is the Golden Boot. It's Salah against Kane and the latter has just scored an equaliser for Spurs against Leicester.
HENDERSON STRIKE! First real sight of goal for either team with Henderson taking on the half volley from about 20 yards out. But the midfielder's shot flashes past the post.
Indeed, Liverpool are playing in their new kit this afternoon for the first time. It's red, so that's something. And I think it might have a slightly different collar. £70, please. Great deal.
Klopp has been a little tetchy about his team's form since making the Champions League final a couple weeks ago. They have allowed their Premier League performances to slip.
Chelsea are playing Newcastle United this afternoon. They could still snatch a top four finish from Liverpool with the right set of results today. This could still be a tense one for Liverpool.
Solanke does well in the opening minute of the game to burst down the outside to the byline and force a corner kick. That set piece doesn't come to anything for Liverpool, though.
- 1st Half
The match is under way at Anfield! It's Liverpool against Brighton on the final day of the Premier League season.
I think it's fair to say Liverpool have been distracted in recent weeks, but all they need is a single point to claim fourth place and secure Champions League football for next season.
Klopp has just confirmed to Sky Sports before the game that Milner is out through injury. That will be a concern for Liverpool ahead of the Champions League final in two weeks' time.
Brighton secured their safety in the Premier League a couple weeks ago, so there's not much pressure on them today. But they would still take pleasure in spoiling Liverpool's party.
The big team news for Liverpool is that Solanke has been handed a start by Klopp for this final game of the season. Other than that, it's a strong lineup from the home side today.
TEAM NEWS: Liverpool - Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane, Solanke. /// Brighton - Ryan, Bong, Dunk, Duffy, Schelotto, March, Stephens, Propper, Kayal, Kockeart, Locadia.
