Liverpool ‘reject €100m Barcelona bid for Philippe Coutinho’

Liverpool have rejected a bid of €100 million from Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.

According to a report in the Telegraph, the bid, which was compromised of €85m up front with €15m in add ons, was dismissed out of hand.
The Brazilian, who joined the Merseyside club back in 2013 for £8.5m from Inter Milan, is said to want to join Barcelona, but will not hand in a transfer request.
Barcelona are looking for reinforcements after PSG activated Neymar’s release clause last week but Liverpool remain insistent that the 25-year-old will not be sold.
The Brazil international signed a new five-year deal at the club in January that, according to the BBC, does not include a release clause.
