Marouane Fellaini completes move to Shandong Luneng Taishan after six years at Manchester United

Marouane Fellaini has completed his permanent move from Manchester United to Chinese club Shandong Luneng Taishan FC.

Reports suggest the 31-year-old moved for £10.5m, signing a three-year deal at the club.

"Everybody at United thanks Marouane for his service and wishes him well for the future as he completes his move to in China," a statement from Man Utd read.

The Belgium international joined United from Everton back in August 2013, and scored 22 goals in 177 appearances during his five-and-a-half seasons at the club.

Fellaini lifted the FA Cup, Community Shield, League Cup and most notably the Europa League during his time at Old Trafford.

The transfer window closed on Thursday in the UK, but Chinese clubs have until Feburary 28 to complete deals.
