Watford name Javi Gracia as manager

Silva was sacked on the weekend after a string of poor results that followed speculation he would become the Everton manager.

Gracia began his coaching career at Pontevedra, before moving to Cadiz.

He made his name at Malaga, joining in 2014 and acheiving consecutive top-10 finishes.

He last managed at Rubin Kazan, leaving in 2017 as the Russian side went through financial difficulties.

Gracia signed an 18-month contract with Watford, who lie in 10th after an initially strong campaign under Silva.
