Zlatan Ibrahimovic pictured in LA Galaxy shirt ahead of transfer

Manchester United yesterday confirmed that Ibrahimovic's contract had been cancelled.

Ibrahimovic had struggled to make a return to the first team after a serious knee injury suffered in April 2017, and United boss Jose Mourinho had said he would not stand in the player's way if he chose to leave.

Ibrahimovic scored one goal in the 2017/18 season for United in seven appearances, but hit 28 in 46 in his first season, following a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

His move to the Galaxy seems imminent after being pictured on the front page of the LA Times wearing their kit.
