Ramsey, 27, is in the final year of his contract and after initial reports suggested a new deal had been agreed it was subsequently reported that talks had broken down.
That leaves Ramsey free to negotiate with foreign clubs in January over a free transfer in the summer, with Italian giants AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan all linked.
There were also reports that Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United would be interested in making a cut-price move for the Welshman in January.
However, speaking while on international duty Ramsey committed his short-term future to Arsenal replying to the question of this current season by saying:
Of course, yeah. I am contracted to Arsenal and I am going to do my best now this season to try and achieve something special.
“Everything has been going great with the club. We thought we were in a position where we had agreed a deal but that’s no longer the case,” he said.
“So I just have to carry on playing my football and do my best for Arsenal this season and I’ll leave the rest with the club now. That’s a decision that they have made. I just have to get on with it and carry on playing the best I can.”
Reports have suggested that new manager Unai Emery has taken the decision to allow Ramsey to leave, with the club unwilling to offer him a significant rise on his current £110,000-a-week salary.
