It came as a surprise to nobody, but Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho opted to leave out star midfielder Paul Pogba for Sunday's trip to Anfield.

Liverpool against United is arguably the biggest game of the season for the Red Devils so far, and Mourinho has decided that World Cup winner and creative midfielder Paul Pogba is not in his strongest XI for such a big test.
A look at the stats suggests that Mourinho has sacrificed his most creative talent for the sake of team shape...
But former-footballers and television pundits Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Graham Souness argued that there was logic behind dropping Pogba...
However, it's fair to say that there was not a common consensus amongst the fans about whether the decision was the correct one...
