Liverpool have no chance of winning the Premier League because they have Dejan Lovren in their squad – according to his international team-mate, Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic.

Liverpool are only two points off Manchester City at the top of the table with Chelsea a further two behind – and all three teams remain unbeaten after 12 games of the season.
But joking during a charity event, Kovacic, on loan at Chelsea from Real Madrid, said Jurgen Klopp’s team stood no chance.
“Liverpool will not be English champion,” he said. “Why? Well because they have Dejan Lovren!”
Kovacic was attending the screening of a film looking back at Croatia’s amazing run to the World Cup final.
Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic and Ivan Perisic were some of the stars also in attendance.
