Both sides have opted for the 'false nine' forward as Chelsea host Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Birthday boy Raheem Sterling has been picked by Pep Guardiola to start up top for Manchester City as they visit Stamford Bridge. The England international has eight Premier League goals so far this season and is surprisingly preferred by his manager over natural centre-forward Gabriel Jesus who started the midweek match agaisnt Watford.

Sergio Aguero is still out with an abductor injury which kept him out of the 2-1 win.

Alvaro Morata has failed to make the squad, but Olivier Giroud features as a substitute for The Blues.
