Samir Nasri makes a first Premier League start since May 2016 as he makes a league debut for West Ham against former club Arsenal at the London Stadium.
Nasri, 31, signed a short-term deal at the start of the transfer window and he is one of three changes from their last Premier League outing, a 2-2 draw with Birghton, with Mark Noble and Michail Antonio also returning for the Hammers.
Robert Snodgrass, Pedro Obiang and Andy Carroll drop to the bench.
The visitors name the same side from their last Premier League match - a 4-1 win against Fulham on January 1 - meaning Alex Iwobi, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lead the line.
That also means there is once again no space in the match-day squad for Mesut Ozil.
West Ham: Fabianski, Zabaleta, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Noble, Rice, Antonio, Nasri, Anderson, Arnautovic.
Subs: Carroll, Snodgrass, Adrian, Obiang, Masuaku, Lucas Perez, Diangana.
Arsenal: Leno, Sokratis, Koscielny, Mustafi, Maitland-Niles, Xhaka, Guendouzi, Kolasinac, Iwobi, Aubameyang, Lacazette.
Subs: Cech, Bellerin, Lichtsteiner, Monreal, Torreira, Ramsey, Nketiah.
