Football Team News: Spurs drop Alderweireld for North London derby, no Ozil for Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur have sprung a surprise by dropping Toby Alderweireld for Sunday's North London derby against Arsenal.
The returning Jan Vertonghen was expected to line up alongside his compatriot in central defence - as he did in the midweek Champions League win over Inter Milan - replacing Juan Foyth.
But young Argentine Foyth retains his Premier League starting berth, with veteran defender Alderweireld being the one to drop out.
There's no room for Erik Lamela in the squad for Spurs after the midfielder picked up a knock against Inter, but Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-Min return to the starting line-up after being used off the bench in Europe.
Sunday's hosts Arsenal are without Mesut Ozil, who has reportedly been suffering from back spasms. Alexandre Lacazette is only fit to start on the bench.
A win for the Gunners would send them above their neighbours in the league table, while victory over Spurs would open up a six-point gap over their local rivals.
Full Line-ups
Arsenal XI: Leno, Bellerin, Sokratis, Holding, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Iwobi, Torreira, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang.
Tottenham XI: Lloris (C), Aurier, Foyth, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane.
