Arsenal hang on for a hard fought win, Lucas Torreira's late acrobatic effort proving decisive. It's now 21 games unbeaten for Unai Emery's side!
The free-kick comes to nothing and Arsenal break. Lossl rushes back and is back in position to scoop up a through-ball searching for Guendouzi.
Huddersfield are going for it! They have a free-kick inside their own half and Wagner encourages his goalkeeper Lossl to contest the delivery!
Pritchard delivers a teasing cross but Sokratis makes a vital clearance with his head. Arsenal hanging on.
Torreira scored his first Premier League goal in the draw with Manchester United on Wednesday night, and, as it stands, it's his bicycle-kick which is going to win the game for the Gunners this afternoon.
There will be SEVEN minutes of added time! Huddersfield: what have you got left?
NO PENALTY! For the umpteenth time this afternoon Paul Tierney ignores a penalty claim. This time the visitors want one. Depoitre races into the box, he's always going wide and Sokratis slides in, knocking the Huddersfield forward off his stride. He got the ball, just.
Arsenal are on course to sealing the victory with yet another second-half goal - their 26th in the Premier League already this season.
- Yellow cardJuninho BacunaHuddersfield Town
Bacuna goes into the book. I have lost count of the yellow cards issued today.
- GoalLucas TorreiraArsenal
GOAL! Arsenal 1-0 Huddersfield
It's been a long, long wait but Arsenal finally break the deadlock! Guendouzi fires a delightful cross for Aubameyang who controls beautifully at the back post. He feeds it to Torreira who finishes with an emphatic bicycle-kick from point-blank range. A lovely goal.
That was the third time an Arsenal player has been booked for simulation today, which demonstrates the home side's desperation.
NO PENALTY! It's a risky challenge from Mooy on Guendouzi who goes down inside the box. The young Arsenal man looks hopefully at the referee but rather than award the spot-kick he issues Guendouzi with a yellow card for simulation.
The corner delivery is teasing and Depoitre manages to flick it on to the six-yard area, but Arsenal eventually mop it up and clear.
Huddersfield win their first corner of the game! Can they make it count? Arsenal's 20-game unbeaten run is on the line here.
Mkhitaryan drills a low ball across the face of goal. It evades Aubameyang, falls to Iwobi at the back post but he can't get it under control. Another chance goes begging.
It would be a huge, and unexpected, point for Huddersfield. But it will be very much a case of two points dropped for Arsenal. They haven't been at their best today.
Arsenal have had seven attempts at goal today, but only registered one shot on target. They have just over 15 minutes to find an opener.
Lossl is off his line quickly to punch it clear, but only as far as Bellerin. The Arsenal defender can only balloon his header into the sky and over the bar, though.
Bacuna fouls Torreira and Arsenal have a dangerous free-kick on the left flank.
A let off for Huddersfield. Iwobi springs into life, cutting in from the flank and driving into the penalty area. His cross causes mass confusion but Kongolo manages to hack clear.
Bellerin fizzes a cross into the box and Lossl tries to clear with a volley! He hits it straight at Aubameyang but can gather it at the second attempt.
Arsenal are persisting with the back three.
- OffShkodran MustafiArsenal
- OnNacho MonrealArsenal
It doesn't look like it's going to be Arsenal's day. Mustafi has picked up an injury now and limps off the pitch. He will be replaced by Nacho Monreal.
WIDE! It's another decent opening for Aubameyang but again he can't make the most of it! Xhaka's corner is high and picks out the frontman at the back post, but he doesn't expect it and can't adjust his body, heading the ball wide at goal.
The short pass isn't working so Guendouzi goes direct and clips a dangerous ball into the heart of the penalty area. Huddersfield clear at the expense of a corner.
- OffTom SmithHuddersfield Town
- OnFlorent HadergjonajHuddersfield Town
Huddersfield make their second enforced change, with Florent Hadergjonaj replacing the injured Smith who leaves the pitch on a stretcher.
There is another stoppage in play, Smith is clutching his calf muscle and will be coming off.
NO PENALTY! Prichard tries to spin away from his marker but appears to be caught by Mustafi inside the box, falling to the ground. But Paul Tierney is unmoved. You have seen them given.
Ten minutes into the first-half, and it's clear that Emery's double substitution is yet to have the desired effect. Huddersfield take an age with their throw-in and the referee warns them to get on with it. There is still a long way to go here.
Xhaka curls a corner-kick over the bar and out for a goal-kick. More frustration for Arsenal.
- OffJonathan HoggHuddersfield Town
- OnJuninho BacunaHuddersfield Town
Hogg is clearly still feeling the effects of landing awkwardly in the first-half and he is forced off. The Huddersfield defender slowly makes his way off the pitch and is replaced by Juninho Bacuna.
Mkhitaryan is flagged offside - just.
HUDDERSFIELD CHANCE! The ball falls to Smith inside the penalty area and is begging to be hit. However, Smith can't adjust his body to get the shot away. It comes out wide to Prichard who tries to swing it in for Depoitre but Leno gets there first.
Xhaka curls in a free-kick into the Huddersfield penalty area, it takes a deflection off Smith and lands in the grateful arms of Lossl.
CLOSE! That would have been quite the impact from Mkhitaryan! He picks the ball in midfield, drives into space and unleashes a shot from 25 yards. It drifts just wide of Lossl's far post.
- OffStephan LichtsteinerArsenal
- OnAlex IwobiArsenal
Unai Emery - who has yet to see his team lead at the half-time break under his reign - makes a double change, with Lacazette and Lichsteniner replaced by Mkhitaryan and Iwobi.
- End of 1st Half
Jeers greet the half-time whistle, but they're aimed at referee Paul Tierney - the home supporters clearly feel there was contact on Mustafi and wanted a penalty.
There was a total of SEVEN bookings brandished in the first-half, but Unai Emery will reflect on the two big chances his front line have spurned.
NO PENALTY! Mustafi goes down inside the box from the resulting corner, prompting appeals for an Arsenal penalty. Paul Tierney, the referee, feels that the German has gone over too easily and instead produces a yellow card for simulation.
FANTASTIC SAVE! A save of the season contender, perhaps, from Lossl. He has to be at full stretch to tip over Torreira's goalbound effort from 25 yards. It was a great effort and a great save to match.
CHANCE! Xhaka makes a mess of his clearance and hits it straight to Mooy, who feeds Pritchard. He tries a first-time effort from the top of the box but curls it miles over the bar.
GOAL CHALKED OFF! Lacazette has the ball in the back of the net, but it's not going to count. Aubameyang flicks on the header, Lacazette is an offside position, but Zanka intercepts and then plays a woeful pass-back short to his goalkeeper. Lacazette pounces, rounds the goalkeeper and converts, but his celebrations are cut short as the linesman had his flag raised the moment he touched the ball. Arsenal will feel that was a separate phase of play and ought to have counted.
- Yellow cardSokratis PapastathopoulosArsenal
Three yellows apiece now! Sokratis flies into a challenge on Hogg and quite rightly receives a booking. The referee needs to keep a lid on this.
- Yellow cardTom SmithHuddersfield Town
Tempers fraying at the Emirates and the card count rises, as Smith is cautioned for clattering into Kolasinac.
- Yellow cardDanny WilliamsHuddersfield Town
Williams goes into the book for quite a ridiculous challenge on Torreira. Lichsteiner confronts the Huddersfield defender and also ends up in the book. All rather needless.
- Yellow cardAlex PritchardHuddersfield Town
Torreira goes down under the challenge of Hogg - but there is nothing doing from the referee. A moment later the hosts are awarded a free-kick and Pritchard goes into the book for the foul on Xhaka.
Patient football from Arsenal as they move the ball out from the back. The home supporters are growing a little frustrated though.
Signs of encouragement from the Gunners, then. After almost 28 minutes of nothing, two wonderful chances come along and two men you would almost put your house on to score - Aubameyang and Lacazette - somehow don't.
ANOTHER MISS! This time it's Lacazette who is guilty of spurning a sitter. Guendouzi sets the Frenchman up on a plate with a squared pass, he only has the goalkeeper to beat but he slips at the crucial moment and balloons his effort into row-Z.
MISS! It's a sitter. Aubameyang is in the form of his life, but how does he not score here? Xhaka delivers a pin-point cross into the penalty area, but the former Dortmund forward inexplicably side-foots it over from a matter of yards out!
- Yellow cardGranit XhakaArsenal
A yellow card is handed to Xhaka after he goes down under the challenge of Mooy in midfield. The referee Paul Tierney isn't satisfied that was a genuine foul and books the Arsenal midfielder for simulation.
Huddersfield have already committed a number of fouls. Not the prettiest of approaches, but Wagner wants to disrupt Arsenal's rhythm by any means.
Arsenal are trying to raise the tempo now. Aubameyang finds space to fizz in an inviting cross but Williams is well positioned to clear.
Huddersfield have clearly set up to frustrate Arsenal and that's what they are doing at the moment. The high-press is causing the hosts difficulties.
Liverpool's victory at Bournemouth earlier today leaves Arsenal 10 points off the summit, but the Emirates faithful won't be too bothered by the substantial margin. They have seen progress under Emery this season and would be happy with a top four spot.
Kolasinac does very well to keep the ball in play at the by-line and hooks a dangerous cross into the danger area. However, Hogg beats Lacazette to the ball.
NEARLY! The ball breaks for Torreira who is racing forward with options either side of him. He tries to slip through Bellerin on the right but gets too much zip on the pass and Lossl is off his line quickly to smother.
Hogg is back on the pitch and looks OK to continue.
Xhaka in action for Arsenal.
He has fallen awkwardly. It may be a wrist injury. Hogg will receive some treatment and there will be a lengthy stoppage here at the Emirates. It's still Arsenal 0-0 Huddersfield.
Hogg is down injured after a coming together with Guendouzi. The replays show there wasn't much - if any - contact with the Arsenal midfielder, but the Huddersfield defender is in a great deal of pain.
Much has been said about the threat Aubameyang and Lacazette can pose, but both forwards have been spectators so far. And it's Emery who is the most animated manager on the touchlines, urging his players to pick up the tempo.
SHOT! We have our first attempt of the afternoon, but the less said about it the better. Lower found some space for an effort from 20 yards but he drags it well wide. Huddersfield are doing OK here, though.
Depoitre looks to race on to a searching ball down the right flank but he's beaten to the ball by Sokratis.
Arsenal threatening to click into gear. A free-flowing passing move forces their first corner of the afternoon but the Terriers stand up to the set-piece and clear.
Huddersfield are using a high-press, forcing Arsenal backwards. Leno is in possession but he's quickly charged down by Depoitre who forces a goal-kick.
And their record against the Arsenal is dismal. They lost both games last season on an aggregate score of 6-0 - and they haven't beaten the Gunners in 10 competitive matches.
Huddersfield have only won twice all season, winning just once on the road. It's a massive ask for the Terriers to get anything this afternoon.
- 1st Half
KICK-OFF! We are underway at the Emirates.
Fifth-placed Arsenal can leapfrog Tottenham and Chelsea into third with a victory, depending on other results, while Huddersfield, hovering just above the drop zone, could potentially be 15th by 5pm, if they can somehow get the win.
Eye-watering statistics from Arsenal's front two. If only Emery could find a way to play them together more often.
Arsenal have yet to lead at half-time in a league fixture this season, and Emery's may well need to remain patient to break down a stubborn Huddersfield side who will, undoubtedly, park the bus in a desperate bid to get a point.
Huddersfield have lost back-to-back league matches, and have claimed only one point from a possible 24 against sides currently in the top half.
"In these situations we have to be more focused, show more concentration and be more resolute as well.
"We also have to be more brutal in one or another situation to make sure we show everybody that we fight to keep the ball out of the net. This will be, for sure, very, very important on Saturday against Arsenal."
Arsenal are unbeaten in 20 games in all competitions, winning 15 of them. It's their longest run without defeat since a 28-game streak in November 2017.
"We are very, very convinced in our way - work, prepare, respect, push with our supporters at the Emirates and feel the spirit with the supporters. Each team that plays against us they need to play hard against us," said Emery, who must be delighted with the start he has made as manager.
THREE CHANGES FOR HUDDERSFIELD
David Wagner also makes three changes, with Tommy Smith, Chris Lowe and Danny Williams, coming in for Florent Hadergjonaj, Pjilip Billing and Erik Durm.
So, Emery makes three changes from the Arsenal side that played out that enthralling match with United. Rob Holding is out for the season and replaced by Stephan Lichsteiner, Aaron Ramsey has a niggle, while Alex Iwobi returns to the bench.
ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE STARTS FOR GUNNERS
The Frenchman starts alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after a strong cameo in the 2-2 draw at Manchester United in midweek.
Granit Xhaka returns after serving suspension, while Laurent Koscienly and Nacho Monreal are back on the bench.
There is still no sign of Mesut Ozil in the squad.
