Goals from Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek ensure Chelsea return to winning ways as they overcome Fulham at Stamford Bridge. They are up to third.
OVER! Kamara blazes the ball into the stands from 30 yards. Ambitious, to say the least.
Three minutes to be added on.
Some late Fulham pressure, but it's too little too late. They just didn't get Mitrovic involved enough.
Into the final five minutes and although it has been hard work Chelsea are heading for another victory.
- Yellow cardÁlvaro MorataChelsea
YELLOW CARD! Morata, probably still thinking about his earlier sitter, goes into the book for a late tackle.
- GoalRuben Loftus-CheekChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 2-0 Fulham
Loftus-Cheek scores his second goal of the season and that should make sure of Chelsea's points. It's a lovely free-flowing move from the Blues, with Hazard playing the final pass to set Loftus-Cheek up on a plate, and he does the rest.
Hazard bends it around the wall but it's straight down the middle for Rico who makes a routine save.
Sometimes the only way to stop Hazard is to foul him, as Christie shows. Chelsea have a free-kick from 25 yards out.
- OffMarcos AlonsoChelsea
- OnDavide ZappacostaChelsea
CHELSEA SUB: Alonso slowly makes his way off the pitch, to be replaced by Zappacosta.
- OffTom CairneyFulham
- OnNeeskens KebanoFulham
FULHAM SUB: Kebano replaces Cairney who gives the captain's armband to Mitrovic. It's the visitors' final change.
Fulham work it patiently, opening up the space for Christie to swing in a cross. But his delivery is overcooked and rolls out for a goal-kick.
MISS! Oh dear, Morata. This is a horrible miss. Hazard fires one at goal, Rico can only parry it into the path of the Spaniard but with the goal gaping the substitute can only hack it into row-Z.
- OffOlivier GiroudChelsea
- OnÁlvaro MorataChelsea
CHELSEA SUB: Giroud is replaced by Alvaro Morata for the last 20 minutes or so.
Chambers dances his way through the Chelsea defence with really clever feet but his cross is disappointing.
- Yellow cardCésar AzpilicuetaChelsea
YELLOW CARD! Azpilicueta goes into the book for a foul on Cairney.
- OffMateo KovacicChelsea
- OnRuben Loftus-CheekChelsea
CHELSEA SUB: Kovacic makes way for Loftus-Cheek who is making his 50th league appearance today.
GOOD SAVE! Kepa has to be on his toes to keep out Chambers' stinging shot from the top of the penalty area after good work from Kamara to set up the on-loan Arsenal defender.
Another Chelsea free-kick but again it ends in frustration as Hazard's delivery is easily cleared.
SAVE! Alonso curls a free-kick attempt from 30 yards at goal but it's comfortable enough for Rico.
Chelsea are struggling to break down this stubborn Fulham defence - could the likes of Loftus-Cheek provide the missing spark?
Giroud is in space on the left and Hazard does well to pick him out but the Frenchman's touch deserts him on this occasion.
CHANCE FOR FULHAM! Chambers towers above his marker to meet the corner delivery at the near post but Kepa keeps it out with a reactive save. That's the closest the Cottagers have come.
Rudiger makes a really important last-ditch tackle to divert a dangerous Fulham cross out for a corner.
Do Chelsea have enough goalscorers in this team? Jorginho doesn't score many, neither does Kante. Can you really see one of Giroud or Morata bagging 20 this term?
SHOT! Pedro comes forward and has a lot of space through the middle. He has options either side, too, but he selfishly goes for goal, curling a weak effort on target but Rico makes the stop.
Fulham feed Mitrovic inside the Chelsea box for the first time this afternoon but the Serbian has two or three defenders for company and commits a foul.
- 2nd Half
We are underway in the second-half and Fulham have made two changes: Kamara and Ayite are on for Sessegnon and Johansen.
STAT: Fulham are winless in their last 43 Premier League away games when trailing at half-time, last going on to win April 2009 vs Man City (3-1).
- End of 1st Half
Chelsea lead at the break courtesy of Pedro's fourth minute strike. The Blues have been the better side and deserve the advantage but Fulham are playing well.
Kovacic makes an important challenge on Cairney on the edge of the box, but hurts himself in the process. He will be OK to continue, though.
GOOD SAVE! Azpilicueta's drilled cross is met by Giroud's toe, forcing Rico into a really smart instinctive stop.
Fulham back off Hazard as the Belgian races to the edge of the box before unleashing a shot but it's blocked before it can reach Rico.
As it stands, Chelsea are going into third and above Spurs. Long way to go in this London derby, though.
CHANCE! Christie with another loose pass gifts Chelsea possession. Giroud makes a darting run to the near post to meet Hazard's low cross and his first-time effort is blocked by Rico at the expense of a corner.
To their credit, Fulham have stuck in after falling a goal behind. They force another corner now, but Johansen's cross is hacked away at the near post.
Mitrovic has been anonymous so far. And if the Serbian doesn't perform then Fulham don't perform.
Fulham have conceded an astonishing 34 goals already this season. If Ranieri is to keep the Cottagers in the Premier League then defending has to be the priority.
Hazard is fouled and Chelsea have a free-kick 30 yards out. Luiz is over it, he hasn't scored in some time, and he shoots straight into the wall.
A cross is fizzed into the Chelsea penalty area and Odoi nods it centre but fails to pick out a player in white.
It has been a busy afternoon for Rico, who is on loan from Sevilla. He is off his line to gather Azpilicueta's cross just now.
CHANCE! Hazard comes in off the left and slips a lovely ball through the channel for Giroud to unlock the Fulham defence. His touch takes him wide, however, creating an angle and he sees his shot blocked by Rico.
Chelsea are in complete control as demonstrated by the possession stats: they have had 67 per cent of the ball so far.
Kante has been quite dangerous for Chelsea. Breaking up play, as usual, but also getting forward and creating problems for Fulham. He sees a shot blocked by Seri just now.
SHOT! Chambers finds space for a shot from 25 yards but it's straight down the middle for Kepa.
Fulham are playing a risky game, trying to play out from the back and losing the ball on too many occasions.
Half-hearted Chelsea appeals for a penalty are waved away by the referee. Kovacic plays a one-two with Giroud but in comes Christie with an important and effective shoulder charge.
Giroud makes a run to the near post but Alonso aims a cross to the back and the ball rolls out of play for a Fulham goal-kick.
Set-pieces represent Fulham's best chance of grabbing a goal back. They win a corner just now, but Johansen's delivery is headed clear by Luiz.
Odoi is having a nightmare out there. Another pass goes a stray but Fulham recover possession.
After making such a bright opening, Ranieri will be devastated his side are a goal down. They have a mountain to climb now.
GOAL! Chelsea 1-0 Fulham
Fulham are the makers of their own undoing. Odoi plays a square pass to Seri, but Kante races in to close him down and steal possession. He charges forward and plays a beautifully-weighted pass to Pedro who finishes with aplomb.
Fulham have made a fantastic start, Christie asking questions down Chelsea's right. He gets forward to have a shot, but it's easily saved by Kepa. And moments later he hooks a cross into a dangerous area but Chelsea scramble it clear.
- 1st Half
KICK-OFF! We are underway at Stamford Bridge.
FIVE MINUTES UNTIL KICK-OFF! Will Chelsea return to winning ways in the Premier League or will Ranieri's Fulham produce a shock?
The Italian has kept his place after a dreadful showing against Spurs.
DID YOU KNOW? Chelsea are unbeaten the last 16 times they have faced Fulham in the league, and have lost only one of their 26 Premier League matches against the Cottagers (W15, D10).
Ranieri returns to Stamford Bridge, where he spent four memorable years.
"Whenever I play my former teams, it's always special," he said. "When you play against Chelsea, you have to be very attentive, but we're working hard and I'm confident it'll be a very good derby."
Of course, Chelsea bounced back from that miserable loss to Spurs with a 4-0 victory over PAOK in the Europa League, but this is the one Sarri will really want to win.
The Blues have picked up just one point from the last six available.
Chelsea can leapfrog Tottenham into third with a win ahead of the North London Derby later today. The defeat to Spurs last weekend was Sarri's first since his summer arrival.
ONE CHANGE FOR FULHAM
Andre Schurrle is injured and misses out so in comes Stefan Johansen as Claudio Ranieri attempts to continue his side's winning run after the victory over Southampton last time out.
Olivier Giroud gets the nod ahead of Alvaro Morata in attack, with the Spaniard having to make do with a place on the bench.
Maurizio Sarri makes two changes from the side well beaten by Tottenham 3-1, with Pedro coming in for Willian.
