- End of 2nd Half
And that's full-time.
Absolutely sensational from Manchester City as they hit Huddersfield to six. Sergio Aguero hit a hat-trick and David Silva was majestic.
That's a warning to the rest of the Premier League.
One last chance for City as they break as Mahrez has Foden and Sane available but he elects to use neither and sends it over.
Ben Hamer has had a tough afternoon but that was definitely the highlight. A great City move sees Sane slip in Foden and his cut-back is nearly put in by Bernard Silva but Hamer extends a strong hand to keep it out.

GOAL! MANCHESTER CITY 6-1 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (KONGOLO OG)
Sane gets in on the act as he explodes down the left hand side. He tries to clip the ball over Hamer but the ball hits the keeper, goes into Kongolo and then into the net.
And there's a change for Huddersfield as Ramadan Sobhi comes on to replace Mouni for his debut.
Players are queuing up on the edge of the box to have a go for City. Latest one is Mendy who smashes the ball over.
City's final change sees the masked man, Ilkay Gundogan, come off as Phil Foden comes on.
More electric football as some clever passing gets Jesus in. He gets the ball out from under him but he drags it wide.
From a Huddersfield free-kick the ball drops to Billing who takes it on the volley. It deflects behind for a corner.
- OffSergio AgüeroManchester City
- OnLeroy SanéManchester City
And that is the end of Aguero's afternoon as he comes off to replace Sane.
GOAL! MANCHESTER CITY 5-1 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (AGUERO)
He's got his hat-trick! It's another brilliant assist from Mendy. He gets down the left again and sends in a fizzing cross. Aguero does brilliantly to divert it home with the back of his heel.
His 13th hat-trick for City.
Aguero twists and turns to get some space. It looks like he might play in Mahrez. However he shoots instead and Hamer reacts well to turn the ball behind
- Yellow cardChristopher SchindlerHuddersfield Town
The game has fizzled out a little bit at the moment. City seem pretty content with their lot and Huddersfield need to get out of here without any more damage.
Schindler takes out Jesus for another yellow. City think it should be a red. You can see their point but it probably wasn't a red.
Huddersfield get a break away with Depoitre but when he slips in Billing the cross is poor.
- OffDavid SilvaManchester City
- OnRiyad MahrezManchester City
The stadium rises as one to salute and applaud David Silva as he comes off to be replaced by Riyad Mahrez.
Special performance from City's little magician.
Huddersfield change. Adama Diakhaby replaces Pritchard.
That would have been superb. Aguero plays a wonderful one-two with Jesus but he fires the ball over.
City are purring here.
Aguero nearly has his hat-trick! The forward loses the ball, gets annoyed, wins it back and then drives and unleashes a shot. It comes crashing off the post.
City's patience sees Mendy played out to the left again.
However this time his cross is poor and Huddersfield put it behind for a corner that again is cleared.
That goal has really taken the wind out of Huddersfield. City are in cruise control.
- Yellow cardPhilip BillingHuddersfield Town
Lovely little touch of Silva into Jesus and the Brazilian is then taken out by Billing.
He is the booked for the challenge.
- GoalDavid SilvaManchester City
GOAL! MANCHESTER CITY 4-1 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (DAVID SILVA)
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! Silva runs in and curls an unstoppable effort into the top corner. Sublime, simply sublime.
Good run from Aguero results in him winning a free-kick on the edge of the area.
David Silva and Ilkay Gundogan stand over it.
Welcome back to the Etihad, we're underway for the second-half.
Huddersfield have made a change: Abdelhamid Sabiri off, Laurent Depoitre on. It looks as if they have gone to a 4-4-2.
No changes for City.
Might be something for Huddersfield to consider changing
Still Peter Schmeichel actually scored, Ederson didn't have that
And we get to half-time as Huddersfield fail to muster one more attack from a long free-kick.
City have been brilliant although Stankovic's goal has made things a little bit interesting.
- GoalJon Gorenc-StankovicHuddersfield Town
GOAL! MANCHESTER CITY 3-1 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (STANKOVIC)
City, and particularly John Stones, caught napping at a long throw and Stankovic finishes for a debut goal.
They couldn't, could they?
Here's Jesus celebrating his goal.
He'll be hoping it isn't his last of the day.;
Well that was easy for City.
Now the question is how many? The Premier League record is nine...
- GoalSergio AgüeroManchester City
GOAL! MANCHESTER CITY 3-0 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (AGUERO)
Mendy involved again as he gets free down the left. Hamer comes out to gather but he spills the ball and Aguero taps home for his second.
And Ederson rightly getting praise for his role in it
Here's Aguero celebrating his goal
- GoalGabriel JesusManchester City
GOAL! MANCHESTER CITY 2-0 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (JESUS)
Brilliant from Benjamin Mendy as he beats one and powers forward from left-back. He plays a one-two with Jesus before a loose ball comes back to the Brazilian. He takes a touch and fires a low shot past Jesus with his left.
Bernardo Silva swings a ball in to the back post. Hamer comes out and gets something on it and it looks like the ball is going out.
However Aguero sprints round, keeps it in and then fires the ball into the side netting. Great work-rate.
Watching replays of that Ederson pass again and it's not just a punt, it's a proper pass, glorious.
Slight break in play as Hamer gets something out of his eye, not sure that's an excuse for the goal...
Right now the pressure is on Huddersfield, they've got to find some way to get back into this.
For City they will now be thinking how many...
- GoalSergio AgüeroManchester City
GOAL! MANCHESTER CITY 1-0 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (AGUERO)
Brilliant ball out from Ederson as he finds Aguero. The striker cuts back onto his left as Hamer comes charging out. From the outside of the box he dinks it over the keeper and defence. Superb.
Wonderful from Ederson as well, that's an assist for him.
Huddersfield break for their first real attack of the game and it results in a wayward shot for Gorenc-Stankovic.
Laporte takes aim from a long way out and it goes very, very high.
Lovely feet from Bernardo Silva as he beats two players before Terence Kongolo comes flying in. He wins the ball but he also wins a lot of man.
The ref says throw but it might have been a foul.
Pep looks calm yet nervous on the touchline if such a thing is even possible.
He'll know that Huddersfield should crack at some stage but we're past the 20 minute mark with no goal
I don't wish to alarm anyone but David Silva just gave the ball away...
I'll see you in the evidently imminent apocalypse
This time David Silva gets down the left-hand side to the byline and his cross is blocked before his follow-up results in a shot that is blocked.
Huddersfield have the ball in the City half, that might be the first time of this match.
It doesn't last long as City quickly win the ball back.
Here's Hamer denying Jesus.
What I failed to mention at the time was the area of his body he used to block the ball.
A painful one shall we say...
Silva finds Mendy on the left but the Frenchman gets his cross all wrong.
City just need one here, one will force Huddersfield out.
For the Terriers I guess they've just got to try and defend as best they can until late in the second-half.
Mendy whips another ball in from the left but it's too close to Hamer and he gathers.
Mendy is playing at wing-back but it's practically wing.
It will come as no great surprise to anyone that Huddersfield are basically camped in and around their box.
Mendy whips a ball over and Huddersfield put it behind for a corner.
David Silva produced more magic as they win another set-piece.
Here is that picture of Silva with Mateo.
David Silva has started this game in incredible form. He twists and turns out on the right and whips the ball in over with the left. The ball skims off a Huddersfield defender, onto Jesus and into the arms of Hamer.
Brilliant stop from Ben Hamer as he gets out well to deny Jesus. The Brazilian had been played in by a fabulous ball by David Silva.
Early carnage in the Huddersfield box.
David Silva involved early as he works free and slides the ball back across, however the subsequent shot is blocked.
City then win a corner and we nearly see one of the great comical own-goals from Huddersfield as the ball is sliced onto the bar.
And yes it does look like Bernardo is out at right wing-back...
Genuinely lovely moment as David Silva, making his 250th Premier League appearance, comes out with his son Mateo.
You may recall that Matteo was born prematurely at 25 weeks.
The other problem that Huddersfield have is that City can call on players like Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling from the bench....
So this result is a foregone conclusion right? City are just that dominant...
We'll see if Huddersfield can surprise us...
Fans watching the players arrive...
But a repetition seems unlikely...
One interesting thing from City's team-news is that there doesn't appear to be a right-back of any kind...
Vincent Kompany, Aymeric Laporte and John Stones all start so does that mean that Stones is at right-back? Or Fernandinho?
I've even seen Bernardo Silva mentioned as a right wing-back...
HUDDERSFIELD TOWN TEAM NEWS

Three changes for the Terriers from their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.

MANCHESTER CITY TEAM NEWS
