Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris charged with drink-driving

Tottenham goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris has been charged with drink-driving, it was confirmed by the Metropolitan Police.
Lloris, also the captain of France's World Cup-winning side, was stopped in the early hours of Friday morning.
The 31-year-old was stopped in Gloucester Place in central London where he failed a roadside breathalyser test and subsequently spent seven hours in police custody, according to reports.
A Metropolitan Police statement read: "Hugo Lloris, 31, of East Finchley, was charged with drink-driving on Friday, 24 August.
"He has been bailed to return to Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 11 September."
Lloris has made over 200 appearances for Spurs during his six years at the club. Tottenham next face Manchester United on Monday evening.
