What better way to jazz up a pretty dull Premier League fixture like Brighton v West Ham on a Friday night than with a random sprint race?

That's exactly what Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville did in a bid to spice things up a bit - and Le Buzz was certainly entertained.

Reacting to a user challenge, the pair did not even drop their mics as they hared across the pitch at the Amex Stadium before kick-off.

Both lost their mic covers and a bit of dignity, but it was a pretty decent race to be fair.

We're pretty certain Carragher took it on the line, but it's pretty hard to be certain. Judge for yourselves...

Then the match started and the evening went downhill.
