FULL-TIME: It's over! Sheffield United's unbeaten run on the road continues in the Premier League on an afternoon of high drama at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!
Great save! Moura smashes one from 20 yards and Henderson does terrifically to tip it over the bar! Spurs are piling on the pressure!
There will be SIX minutes of added time!
Chance! Son is almost on a one-man mission to win the game for Spurs. He races down the left, crosses into a crowded penalty area but Henderson gratefully smothers the ball .
- OffLys MoussetSheffield United
- OnCallum RobinsonSheffield United
Sheffield United sub: The impressive Mousset makes way for Callum Robinson.
- OffSerge AurierTottenham Hotspur
- OnLucas MouraTottenham Hotspur
Spurs sub: Lucas Moira will replace Aurier in an attacking switch for Spurs. They have four minutes of normal time plus whatever is added on to grab a late winner.
Basham makes a crucial challenge to prevent Son on the right side of the penalty area. Spurs are preparing another sub.
- Yellow cardJuan FoythTottenham Hotspur
Yellow card! Foyth goes into the book. You can't take your eyes off this one!
- GoalGeorge BaldockSheffield United
GOAAAAAALLLLLL! Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield United: The Blades get their equaliser! Baldock's cross is deflected off Dier and ends up in the back of the net! Wait... it's going to the dreaded VAR - is this one going to be ruled out, too? IT STANDS!
Tottenham have gone to a back three to mirror Sheffield United. They are clearly happy to sit and protect this one-goal lead for the last 15 minutes.
- OffDele AlliTottenham Hotspur
- OnJuan FoythTottenham Hotspur
Spurs sub: Juan Foyth will replace Alli, who has played well again today.
Chance! Spurs attack from the right and Son gets in behind O'Connell but slips at the vital moment. The Spurs forward appeals for a penalty but after a quick VAR check it isn't given.
It's VERY harsh on Sheffield United. Unfortunately VAR is going to steal the headlines once more. It took almost FOUR minutes to make the decision.
More VAR controversy... the goal WON'T stand! Baldock's toe was offside.
Was Baldock's TOE offside at the far side in the build-up to the goal? My goodness. Agonising wait for the supporters. Boos around the stadium as it takes an age for the decision.
GOAAAALLLL! Tottenham 1-1 Sheffield United: Spurs' lead is short-lived! Dier is caught sleeping at the far post and McGoldrick is just onside to tap in Steven's low cross! It's going to be reviewed by VAR...
It's very harsh on Sheffield United, but more relief for Son after a difficult week.
- GoalHeung-Min SonTottenham Hotspur
GOAAAALLLL! Tottenham 1-0 Sheffield United: Son gives Spurs a much-needed lead! The Blades are the makers of their own downfall as O'Connell makes a hash of a clearance and Son pounces, slipping it through the legs of Henderson for his third goal in two games!
Spurs chance! A huge roar from the crowd as Spurs break with menace. Alli slips through Son with a beautiful pass and he shoots across goal, forcing Henderson into a decent stop.
How are Sheffield United not leading? Mousset bursts down the right, spins Sanchez and suddenly he has a golden opportunity to fire the Blades into the lead from 12 yards. Somehow he fires it wide!
Well wide! Son is allowed to check back onto his left foot, he catches it well enough, but his shot is always curling wide. The hosts have yet to register a shot on target.
This isn't how Pochettino would have wanted his side to have approached the second half - Sheffield United are still on top. The Argentine has just sat back down on his seat and looks thoroughly fed up.
Block! Mousset gets one-on-one with Dier, twisting to open up the space for a shot. Sanchez races across to help out his centre-half partner and makes an important block.
- OffTanguy N'DombeleTottenham Hotspur
- OnHarry WinksTottenham Hotspur
Spurs sub: During the interval Harry Winks replaced Ndombele, who may have picked up an injury in the first period.
- 2nd Half
The second half gets underway.
- End of 1st Half
Half-time: It's somehow still goalless at the break. Sheffield United have created the clearer chances, with Lundstrum striking the post and diverting a cross inches wide. Spurs improved as the half progressed and Lo Celso flashed a shot just wide, but Pochettino needs much more from his team in the second half if they are to move back into the top 10 this evening.
There will be one minute of added time to play at the end of the first half.
Otherwise, it has been another solid display from Lundstrum. He looks every inch a quality Premier League player.
A rush of blood to the head from Lundstrum as he shoots first time from the edge of the box but skies it into row-Z.
Close! Much better from Spurs who conjure up their best chance with fluid movement and football. Davies rolls a beautiful ball into the path of Son on the left, whose first touch is sublime. He rolls it back to Lo Celso who flashes his shot wide of Henderson's left hand post.
Spurs win a free-kick on the right, which Lo Celsco sends into the mixer, searching for Davies, but Basham heads clear.
Shot! Spurs play the corner short and work it to Aurier who tries a shot from 30 yards. He catches it sweet but it's never troubling the goalkeeper. Wide.
Spurs are back on the attack - this is a hugely entertaining and open game. There's contact on Kane inside the box but he stays on his feet and Spurs force a corner.
Post! Fleck's cross to the far post picks out O'Connell. He rolls it back to Lundstrum whose first-time shot from 15 yards crashes off the post, with Gazzaniga beaten. Another let-off for Spurs.
Great chance - Sheffield United should be ahead! Stevens bends a delightful ball across the face of goal. Sanchez lets it through his legs and Lundstrum can only divert it wide with his knee.
Poor cross! Lo Celso opens the visiting defence open with a lovely pass to Ndombele but instead of playing it across goal he tries to cut it back and Sheffield United clear.
Spurs' passing has left a lot to be desired, especially out of defence. The work rate, tireless running and determination from Sheffield United is a joy to watch.
Over! Aurier tees up Son who leans back, rushes his shot and blazes it well over the bar.
Shot! Spurs are struggling to get the ball out from the back as Sanchez misplaces a pass. McGoldrick springs forward and tries his luck from 25 yards with a low shot but it's straight at Gazzaniga.
Dier curls a dangerous pass into the penalty area but Son's not quite on the same wavelength as his team mate and fails to reach it.
- Yellow cardOliver NorwoodSheffield United
Danger as O'Connell is played in behind the Spurs defence on the left but his cross is poor and Spurs escape. Norwood then goes into the book for a foul on Alli, which is rather harsh on the Sheffield United midfielder.
Wide! Lo Celso tries a curler from 25 yards but it's always drifting wide and if it wasn't Henderson would have had it covered.
Much better from Spurs! Lo Celso squeezes a pass into the path of Aurier on the right and he crosses for Kane who clips his effort wide of the goal from a tight angle.
Dier, already on a yellow card, barges Mousset from behind, conceding the free-kick on the left. He has to be really careful from now.
Twelve minutes on the clock and Kane has yet to touch the ball!
Spurs certainly look weary from their midweek adventure and now Ndombele is limping.
Save! McGoldrick drives forward centrally and switches the ball to the unmarked Fleck to his left. In space, he opts to shoot early and it's a comfortable enough save for Gazzaniga who gets down quickly to smother it. Spurs were opened up there.
Dier misplaces a simple pass out of defence and the Blades are back on the attack. This has been a poor start for Spurs - they haven't settled and almost look nervous.
Wilder promised his Blades side would be fearless in their approach and they have already shown in the opening exchanges that they haven't come here just to defend.
Sheffield United force two successive corners but can't test Gazzaniga on this occasion. The loose ball falls to Lundstrum at the back post but the midfielder scuffs his shot well wide.
Good save! Gazzaniga forced into action already! Fleck's cross is headed to the penalty area by Aurier where Norwood is positioned. He lets fly with a spectacular volley, it takes a deflection and Gazzaniga pushes it over the bar with a fingertip save.
- Yellow cardEric DierTottenham Hotspur
Yellow card! Dier, making only his second league start of the season, is clearly off the pace and goes into the book for a foul on Baldock on the right.
- 1st Half
KICK-OFF! Spurs get the ball rolling at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
A minute's silence will be observed ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
FIVE minutes until kick-off! Sheffield United have won only four of their 35 top-flight away games against Spurs, losing 24 - but this is an impressive side who have already beaten Arsenal and drawn with Chelsea, can they spring yet another surprise?
Spurs are 11 points worse off than they were this time last season. They're already 10 points adrift of Leicester in fourth place. Pochettino has warned not to rule his team out of a top four place, making today a must-win.
Wilder on Spurs: "Sometimes things happen and people don't start in the fashion they'd have wanted to, but scratch beneath the surface and what you've got is one of the world's top managers coaching an unbelievable group of players. It's another great afternoon for us to pit our wits against top-class individuals. We'll be fearless in our approach."
Another win for Chelsea - should they be classed as title contenders now?
Pochettino on Sheffield United: "It is going to be very difficult. They work so hard. What impressed me most is the belief, the togetherness, they have the spirit like a rugby team that fights for each other, that is fantastic to see in a football team."
It's no surprise that Chris Wilder makes no changes from the Sheffield United side that overcame Burnley so comprehensively last weekend. They have conceded only eight times this season and are unbeaten on the road since January 19 in the Championship. Can Spurs put an end to that remarkable run?
He gets his rewards today.
The big talking point in Spurs' starting line-up is the inclusion of Giovani Lo Celso, who makes his first Premier League start after an impressive performance in midfield in the 4-0 victory at Red Star on Wednesday, with Christian Eriksen benched. Eric Dier takes the place of Toby Alderweireld for only his second start of the season and Ben Davies gets the nod ahead of Ryan Sessegnon, who is still waiting for his first start for the club.
TEAM NEWS - Tottenham XI: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Sissoko, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Son, Alli, Kane.. subs: Vorm, Alderweireld, Winks, Sessegnon, Foyth, Eriksen, Moura.
