Hello and welcome to the last day of the Premier League season, as Arsenal play Brighton. I'm Ciaran Baynes and I'll be following the match with you.

A fine last performance of the 2020/21 season from Arsenal receives deserved applause from the fans, though this will not be greeted with as much joy as would have been the case if Gareth Bale had not scored late on to put Tottenham in front.

Martinelli gets to the by-line but his cross is gathered at the second attempt by Sanchez.

Odegaard is replaced by Martinelli. Again a big occasion for a likely last appearance and a fan favourite.

Aubameyang is replaced by Lacazette.

Saka gets the ball from Aubameyang in the box but White blocks his attempted centre.

Saka comes on for Smith Rowe. Two big cheers for two fan favourites.

Xhaka finds Partey with a fine ball into the box and the ex Atletico midfielder turns well and half-volleys past Sanchez but it crashes off the bar.

Pepe is through on goal and tries an audacious chip but it barely gets knee high and Sanchez easily gathers.

Aubameyang races down the left wing but with no one in the box he shoots wildly from a narrow angle and it goes across the goal.

Alzate comes on for Mac Allister in Brighton's last change.

GOAL FOR ARSENAL! Another fine finish from Pepe. What a good end to the season from him. Perfect placement into the corner after receiving a ball into the box from Odegaard and then he shoots through Dunk's legs and inside the far post.

Smith Rowe is so stylish when he runs with the ball into the area but White puts it behind for a corner.

Even better for Arsenal, Spurs are losing so as things stand they are two points clear of their rivals.

Odegaard goes down from minor contact from Lallana after receiving a ball off the by-line from Aubameyang. Like Connolly at the other end the referee tells the Arsenal player to get off the floor.

Connolly goes down in the area from the slightest of nudges from Holding and is told to get up by the referee.

Great chance for Connolly. He latched onto a long ball from Burn and turned inside Holding but then shot way wide of the goal from ten yards out.

GOAL FOR ARSENAL! Fine finish from Pepe. Chambers plays a ball first time into the box from the right flank and Pepe controlled perfectly and then rifled home on the half volley with his right.

Arsenal get us back underway...

Lallana and Connolly come on for Trossard and Jahanbakhsh for Brighton.

Twice Arsenal close to going ahead and Brighton a bit lucky to be on level terms.
