Hello and welcome to Eurosport's LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Sheffield United. Mikel Arteta's side is hoping to bounce back after a defeat to Liverpool in the league last time out, and although the Gunners advanced in the Carabao Cup at the expense of the Reds on Thursday, it's points in the league that will matter most to Arteta. Sheffield United, meanwhile, are pointless after three games, but having drawn with Arsenal 1-1- back in January, Chris Wilder's men may well push them close again.

A scare for Ceballos at the opposite end of the pitch as he clips Lundstram but the Sheffield United player stays on his feet.

Much better from Arsenal. Finally they play with a little urgency and with it, create an opening. Cebellos plays a first-time ball, searching for Aubameyang, but there's just too much zip on the pass for the Arsenal forward.

McGoldrick had a little look at Elneny before catching him and the Sheffield United forward was fortunate to go unpunished there.

Elneny is floored after being caught in the throat by McGoldrick's arm - but the referee Lee Mason allows play to continue.

Half-time: A frustrating first half for Arsenal comes to a close. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang provided their best moment with an ambitious shot from 30 yards, but United keeper Aaron Ramsdale was equal to it.

How about that?! Aubameyang is absolutely fine. He tries an overhead-kick but catches it with his shin and it's a comfortable save for Ramsdale.

He's now moving freely, Aubameyang, as Arsenal force a corner. Willian, who has been largely anonymous, whips in a deep cross but the visitors have little trouble in dealing with it.

Aubameyang is back on his feet and may well be fit to continue. Lacazette hasn't been given the call to warm up.

Save! Much better! Ramsdale's poor kick is pounced on by Ceballos, who feeds Aubameyang. He unleashes a shot and it's destined for the top corner! Ramsdale does well to tip it over though!

McGoldrick tries an ambitious shot from all of 30 yards and it's well, well wide.

Osborn sends a deep cross into the Arsenal box. Leno decides to punch it, but he's impeded by Egan and wins the foul. Meanwhile, Elneny appears to have picked up a knock - he's limping. That's one to watch.

As horrible as the opening half-an-hour has been as a football contest, credit has to go to Sheffield United, who have been excellent defensively. Still without a goal this season, though.

Arsenal are upping the tempo and Tierney is seeing much more of the ball now. He stands up another cross but it's just too high for Aubameyang.
