Good evening and welcome to live coverage of Chelsea v Arsenal in the Premier League.

The whistle goes and Arsenal have a win that the club desperately needed after a morale-sapping couple of weeks. It’s a double over the Chelsea for Mikel Arteta too. Thomas Tuchel’s team will now be looking over their shoulders a little after missing a chance to nail down a top four spot. At Stamford Bridge it finishes Chelsea 0 Arsenal 1.

Arsenal’s defenders throw themselves at the ball time and again inside the box as the defending gets increasingly desperate. But they survive again and that is surely the win in the bag!

Arsenal break and Partey goes down in the box. He’s going to be booked for simulation there and rightly so.

WHAT!? How did that not go in for Chelsea? Zouma loops a brilliant header over Leno and off the bar (via a crucial touch from the keeper), and on the rebound Giroud turns a shot from a tight angle back off the crossbar for a second time in quick succession. Remarkable!

That’s better from Chelsea! The home side open Arsenal up and Hudson-Odoi curls a cross towards Pulisic on the far side. The American is at full-stretch though and fails to make good enough contact to trouble Leno.

But no, the right-back is okay to continue.

Bellerin looks like he’s picked up a bit of an injury here. He’s hobbling to the touchline.

Tuchel made seven changes for this game and you can kind of tell – Chelsea, for all of their possession, haven’t really clicked into anything approaching top gear tonight.

Now it’s Arsenal enjoying a rare spell of possession. It’s not been pretty but so far it’s been quite effective from Mikel Arteta’s team this evening.

It’s all bit a bit meh from Chelsea tonight, almost as if the team are playing with half an eye on their two cup final matches to come.

Bellerin is involved straight away, but at the attacking end of the pitch, getting a shot away that Kepa saves.

Chelsea also make a change, bringing on a player who can offer something completely different up top.
