FULL-TIME: Chelsea 2-0 Burnley
Probably as comfortable as a 2-0 win could be. Chelsea were still guilty of not moving the ball quickly enough on some occasions but generally looked really good in open play. The only problem, albeit a major one, is how they're going to score goals, because they had to be bailed out by two good strikes from defenders today as the forwards went missing again.

Silva heads McNeil's cross out for a corner, from which they create their first and last chance of the game, duly header over by Tarkowski.

Chelsea content to just run down the clock now and waste time. Burnley are seemingly about to go the whole game without registering a single shot on goal.

Mumbongo has a chance to score a Premier League goal on his debut, but he hits the post! The linesman has his flag up though, so the Swede was ruled offside anyway.

WHAT A GOAL!!! And what a way to mark your return to the team! Alonso controls the ball in the air and whacks it home on the volley! 2-0 now. It must be game, set and match surely?

Burnley still haven't had a single shot on goal, so I don't know how much impact this change will make if they're not even creating chances in the first place, but Mumbongo is on for Brady to give them fresh legs up front.

SAVED!! James is already involved! He aims a shot at the near post and pulls the trigger, but Pope saves the day once more for the away side.

Tuchel makes his second change. Reece James is on for Hudson-Odoi, who has put in a man of the match performance. A deserved rest for him but maybe premature with the game not yet out of sight?

SAVED!! Hudson-Odoi involved yet again! This time his low pass sets up Pulisic, but the American's first-time effort is met by a reflex save from Pope.
How is Pope not England's number one keeper?! He's kept Burnley in this.

CLOSE!! Brilliant again from Hudson-Odoi who makes a run in behind to receive the ball and his resulting pass cross-goal is deflected on-target by Mee's lunging challenge. Pope keeps it out with a great save.

Wood goes down and it looks to be a hamstring issue, joining Burnley's other first-choice striker Barnes on the injury list. Mumbongo is warming up but Gudmondsson comes on instead and this could prompt a change of system for the Clarets.

OFF THE POST!!! Undoubtedly one of the best chances of the game! Hudson-Odoi drives at Pieters and strikes low from just inside the box, but it's deflected off the Dutch defender and onto the post. Burnley need to be careful the game doesn't fall out of reach here.

Dyche makes his first switch of the game, as Jay Rodriguez comes on for Vydra, who was incredibly quiet today.

SAVED! Hudson-Odoi picks up from where he left off in the first half by making a run down the right and whipping in a cross to Werner. He heads it goalwards around the near post but Pope saves it with ease.

Azpilicueta's cross hits Mee's arm and goes out of play, which prompts some penalty and brief VAR check before it's dismissed by officials.

Second half underway now. One sub being made: Christian Pulisic on for Abraham. Tuchel gave Pulisic his Borussia Dortmund debut at the age of 17! This change could see Werner playing more centrally.

Burnley played fairly narrow in that first half. Hudson-Odoi has had a great game so far marauding down the right, but why don't Burnley try and test him on the defensive end? McNeil is a particularly tricky customer on his day and he could make it more of a contest on that side.
Despite being on the back foot for much of the first half, Burnley still looked comfortable and happy to let Chelsea try and break them down. I was about to post that on here but Chelsea then scored mid-sentence!
None of Chelsea's attackers have really gained a foothold on the game, so there could quite easily be a way back into this for the Clarets if they don't concede too early on.
