Full time! City are on the brink now. After a poor first half, they eased to a 2-0 victory with an impressive second half performance.

Aguero drills the ball from an angle. Guaita guards his near post and saves.

Ake does well to dispossess Zaha after a rare Palace attack.

WIDE! Zinchenko finds Sterling, who sets himself in the area but can't find the corner.

Kouyate is booked. Free kick City in a good position.

Sterling is beaten to Cancelo's cross by Guaita.

This is the City we know. They're playing with the intensity they were missing before half tie. Sterling is again crowded out in the area.

That would have been a stunning break. City break and Torres backheels into Cancelo's path. The fullback's curling effort just drops the wrong side of the post.

OFF THE LINE! Dann clears afteer Torres chips the ball across goal, looking for Jesus. Great defending.

Guardiola is cutting a frustrated figure on the touchline. Guaita smothers the ball before Jesus can reach Sterling's pass.

  • Luka Milivojevic

Milivojevic booked for a foul on Torres. City have a free kick.

Palsce look to be hurrying City a little more earlier in this second half. City are playing the ball a little quicker, too. No chances yet.

Cancelo is caught by Eze. Free kick City.

No changes at the break. City kick us off.

  • End of 1st Half

HALF TIME! It is 0-0 and hardly a great watch. City dominating the ball, created some chances and had the ball in the net. But they are so passive; no pace or intensity.

One added minute, which we are in.

City havw no room to operate in the Palace box. Sterling turns well but is picked off well by Eze.

Townsend's kick is way to close to Ederson. Easily collected.

Free kick to Palace. Chance to load the box before half time.

Mendy and Rodri each try to cross, but that is what Palace want. Very easy to deal with. They need to pull defenders out of position and get to the byline.

CHANCE! Brilliant work from Torres, who crossed for Aguero earlier (my bad). He fires a cross in, but Jesus is on his heels and can't get there.

Lovely skill by Eze on the edge of the City box, but his shot misses the target.

Aguero shoots wide after a clever cross by Cancelo. Milivojevic did well to put him off.

Poor from the Brazilian, who should have got himself onside when Scott Dann blocked a shot by Aguero.

GOOOOAAALLL... no. Jesus is offside, I'm sure it'll be checked.

City are still probing but lack their usual fluidity. I'm not sure the 4-4-2 is working here.

Eze takes a free kick, which Dann wins in the air. Eventually, the ball falls for Riedewald, but his shot is wild.

Best move from the hosts. Ward pulls back from the byline after link up with Townsend. Rodri blocks originally and Benteke can't score after a second bite.

Zaha called offside.

Mitchell dispossesses Jesus on the right. He's started really well.

Fernandinho covers for Cancelo and intercepts from Zaha. Perfectly timed tackle.

City are beginning to step up. Good link up between Jesus and Aguero after Sterling's pass, but Dann clears before they can get a shot away.

TACKLE! Sterling delays shooting when in the area, allowing Mitchell the chance to tackle him. Very good challenge. The ball just wouldn't fall for the England man.

There seems to be a sense of ease about City here. They aren't gunning for Palace, which is encouraging the hosts to play. They may be looking to pick them off, but they need to show more than they have so far.

Benteke tried an effort at the other end, but it wasn't much better.

Sterling cuts in from the left and curls an effort harmlessly wide. He is on a run of 10 games without scoring.

Torres handles the ball, halting an attack. That was complacent.

After a breakaway, Townsend crosses for Benteke, who slightly mistimes his jump. He should do better. If he does, Ederson is in trouble.

WIDE! Ferran Torres is in space at the back post and is found by Mendy. His effort isd deflected for a corner, which is cleared.

Interestingly, Palace have a man advantage in midfield. They need to put Fernandinho under some pressure alongside Rodri.

It has been a slow start here in general. Milivojevic has just barged Jesus to the ground.

Ward heads clear before Rodri can get there.

Zaha fouls Cancelo with a hand in the face. Free kick to City in a decent position.

City easing themselves in here, but Palace have a throw in.

  • 1st Half

Palace get us underway!

It is also the small matter of a possible 19th straight away win. Here we go. Teams are coming out.

In the grand scheme of things, this may not feel like a big game for either side. But City can take a giant leap towards another title. They need to win. Just under 5 minutes to go.

We've got to enjoy Aguero today... He may not have many more monents in a City shirt.

Just over 10 minutes to go! What are we thinking? I'm thinking about making a cuppa.

Following the end of their quadruple hopes a couple of weeks ago, City have bounced back emphatically. They've won their last three, including the Carabao Cup final and the European semi finak first leg. They'll be desperate to put pressure on Manchester United with another win today.

Ebere Eze and Wilfried Zaha certainly hold the key for Palace today, they have the guile to hurt City on the break. But they'll expect to have lots of time without the ball today.

Palace are coasting towards another midtable finish this season, but it could be all change at Selhurst Park this summer with Roy Hodgson reported to be departing. But they come into this game with one win in six and none in their last three.

City can be crowned Premier League champions for a third time under Guardiola, if they win today and Manchester United lose to Liverpool. We are at the sharp end of the season now.

Unsurprisingly, given City are in the middle of a crunch Champions League semi final, Pep Guardiola has made eight changes. Only Ederson, Joao Cancelo and Rodri maintain their places after the win over PSG last week. Gabriel Jesus AND Sergio Aguero start.

Manchester City: Ederson, Mendy, Laporte, Ake, Cancelo, Sterling, Rodri, Fernandinho, Torres, Aguero, Jesus

Here is the team news. Two changes for the hosts. Tyrick Mitchell, fresh from signing a new contract, is in at right-back, and Andros Townsebd starts.

Crystal Palace: Guaita, Mitchell, Dann, Kouyate, Ward, Riedewald, Milivojevic, Eze, Townsend, Zahs, Benteke

Team news to come in a second. Eurosport is backing the social media blackout until Monday night, and we strongly believe that online hate must stop. We will not be embedding any tweets in our live blogs as a result.
