Excellent work from Chelsea, as Chilwell is slipped in after making a blistering run, but his shot is off target

CHANCE! Pulisic makes a yard of space inside the box, but his shot is tame and Meslier makes the save at his near post

Chelsea passing the ball from left to right as they try and work an opening

SAVE! Great save from Mendy who just gets a hand to Raphinha's shot as he was going to ground

CHANCE! Nothing is falling for Havertz at the moment as another chance escapes him

The corner is sent in and Leeds clear their lines

CHANCE! Havertz should have done better there as he smashes the ball at Meslier in a one on one situation, but the keeper stays strong and tips the ball over the bar. A big left off for Phillips who allowed the German to stroll into the box and get his shot off

Chelsea continuing where they left off with the majority of possession

  • 2nd Half

One minute of added time to be played at Elland Road

Corner for Leeds with Raphinha to take it. But it's over hit and goes out for a throw in

Leeds not giving Chelsea a moment to breathe as they close down any Blue shirt in possession of the ball

The corner comes in and Rüdiger is in plenty of space, but the ball pops off his thigh and into the hands of Meslier. It's the kind of chance Tuchel would have wanted a striker to be on the end of

Some decent build up play from Leeds as they hold onto the ball well looking for an opening

OFF THE BAR! Roberts attempts to dink the ball into the top corner from the edge of the box, but Mendy just gets a finger tip to it. It's been a frantic 16 minutes!

SAVE! Pulisic makes a driving run into the Leeds box, his low cross is pushed away by Meslier. It only needed a touch for it to be the opening goal

OFF THE BAR! The ball deflects off Llorente inside the box and on to the Leeds bar, luckily it falls into the hands of Meslier

OFFSIDE! Seconds later the ball is in the back of the Chelsea net, but Bamford was just off side when he played the ball to Roberts. That's an early warning for The Blues

CHANCE! Havertz almost taps the ball in from a couple of yards out, but doesn't get a decent connection on the ball. Brilliant work from Pulisic to get the low cross in

Chelsea enjoying a decent spell of possession as they push forward

An early worry for Leeds as Phillips seems to be moving gingerly. The Whites will be hoping he can shake that knock off

The game has started just as expected with real pace being shown by both sides

  • 1st Half

Leeds get the game under way

Kick off is moments away now as the players take to the pitch

In the build up today's game Tuchel spoke about the danger Leeds pose "Bielsa is clearly one of the most fascinating managers out there. He has built a strong squad, their style of play is very unique and very intense"

Leeds will be aiming for a solid first half performance as they have conceded a league-high 29 goals in the first half of Premier League games this season

Tuchel has had a fine start to life at Chelsea. He is unbeaten in his nine Premier League games so far. Only Maurizio Sarri (12) and Frank Clark (11) have had longer runs without defeat from the start of their Premier League careers

One player that is shining under the new management at Chelsea is Mason Mount. Since Tuchel took charge, Mount is playing in a more advanced role that sees him support the central striker, as a result he is averaging 2.9 shots per 90 minutes

Leeds have faced an average of 16.3 shots per Premier League game against sides currently in the top 10 this season, with a staggering 245 shots in 15 games

The away day woes of Frank Lampard are truly behind Chelsea now as they have won five of their six away games in all competitions under Thomas Tuchel drawing only one

For all the fireworks that come with Marcelo Bielsa's style of football, his team have not beaten a 'big six' opponent in seven Premier League meetings this season drawing two and losing five

When these sides met in December it was the Blues that came out on top with 3-1 win. Chelsea struck twice in the second half as they came from behind to beat Leeds United in front of 2,000 returning home fans. There's no doubt that Leeds will be wishing they could call upon the support of their Elland Road faithful in the stands today

And this is the Chelsea squad.

There are rare starts for Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz who will be keen to show their manager what they can do when given the chance

Here is how the Leeds United are set out for today's game.

Kalvin Phillips is deemed fit enough to start having returned from injury in Monday night's defeat at West Ham. While former Blues striker Patrick Bamford leads the line

Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of the Premier League clash between Leeds United and Chelsea.
