Willian sildes a through pass to Lacazette, who beats Liverpool's high line via being a mile offside. He goes through and shoots, and Alisson saves, then the flag goes up.

More patient, probing stuff from Liverpool here. Arsenal look more sprightly this half, and are getting to the Liverpool players much quicker than in the first half.

Another error from Holding, who is closed down quickly my Mane and muscled off the ball on the corner of his own area. He recovers well to cut out Mane's attempted back heel to release Robertson, but he's struggling down that side.

Holding gives the ball away deep in his own half again. Keita picks it up, drives at the Liverpool defence and a Firmino cut back to Salah is intercepted and cleared.

Tierney cops another one. Alexander-Arnold catches him with a follow-through, and goes into the book.

Tierney gives the ball away deep in Liverpool's half, and Keita bangs one over the top for Mane. He's forced over to the left side of the area by Luiz, and shoots a yard over the bar.

What a chance here for Maitland-Niles! He springs the high Liverpool line perfectly, racing on to a raking fifty yard pass from Luiz, but his first touch is horrible and he shins it straight through to Alisson. Any kind of half decent touch there and he was in.

A long pass from Alexander-Arnold finds Firmino in the penalty area. He tries to chest it down first time for Salah, who is bursting into the penalty area, but Leno slides out to claim the ball.

Holding gives the ball away 40 yards from his own goal now, and a reverse pass to Robertson almost gets Liverpool away again but Willian tracks back superbly to get in front of him and win a free kick. A third for Liverpool before half-time would not be a surprise here.

Liverpool weren't exactly a sleeping elephant, but Lacazette's goal has given them the impetus to go to a level Arsenal can't deal with. Arteta will not be happy at a pretty feeble ten minutes from his defenders since they took the lead.

Liverpool are ahead! Alexander-Arnold floats a cross into the area, which Bellerin can only glance into the patch of an unmarked Robertson coming in at the back post. Robertson gets it under control and scoops a lovely finish over the diving Leno to give Liverpool the lead.

Keita has a whack at goal now, from a very tight angle on the right of the penalty area, and Leno punches the ball to safety.

Blimey, that was a busy few minutes. Even the players seem to have subconsciously agreed to take stock.

Liverpool are level! Salah takes the scenic route around Tierney on the edge of the penalty area, muscling his opponent off the ball and surging into the box. He booms in a shot that Leno can't hold, and Mane is there to tap in the rebound. We're level!

Arsenal break out of defence and suddenly Maitland-Niles is away down the right. He crosses weakly to the back post where Robertson should cut it out; instead, Robertson connects horribly with the ball and deflects it to Lacazette, playing him onside. Lacazette swivels like Gerd Muller, hits a hopeless shot into the floor but it bounces over the already diving Alisson and into the net. A comical goal, and Arsenal lead!

Luiz plays a poor pass out of defence that Liverpool steal on the edge of the area. They quickly work a shot for Wijnaldum, but it's weak and straight at Leno.

OFF THE BAR! Robertson gets into space on the left of the area and his low cross is cleared behind for a corner by Xhaka. Said corner is headed clear to Alexander-Arnold on the edge, and his booming drive deflects off Bellerin, off the crossbar and away.

Arsenal can't do much here beyond trying to clear the ball long out of defence, and it's playing right into the hands of Liverpool. Arteta's team are committed to playing out from the back, but it's been a bit wayward a few times already between Leno and his defenders.
