The Merseysiders are buoyant right now after following up a couple of impressive wins in London with a productive deadline day. Meanwhile, Brighton will hope to build on their surprise 1-0 victory over Spurs and further bolster their survival bid. Kick off 20.15 GMT.

Liverpool are down in fourth following Leicester’s win at Fulham. The Reds can edge back up to third with a win and move a point behind second-placed Man United. They would then be four points off leaders Man City ahead of Sunday’s Anfield clash between the two sides. It would obviously make worse reading for Kopites if they fail to take the three points tonight. Meanwhile, 17th-placed Brighton could move up to 15th with a point. A shock win would move them 10 points clear of the drop zone.
