Love it!

Liverpool are down in fourth following Leicester’s win at Fulham. The Reds can edge back up to third with a win and move a point behind second-placed Man United. They would then be four points off leaders Man City ahead of Sunday’s Anfield clash between the two sides. It would obviously make worse reading for Kopites if they fail to take the three points tonight. Meanwhile, 17th-placed Brighton could move up to 15th with a point. A shock win would move them 10 points clear of the drop zone.

Salah surges in from the right touchline to collect Henderson's raking, diagonal ball. He kills it with a wonderful touch but cushions a volley just over the top with the second.

STAT: Brighton haven't beaten Liverpool in the league since March 1982. It’s many, many years, but just the nine matches (D2, L7).

More from Potter on new signing Moises Caicedo: “I wouldn't put any expectations for the next couple of months other than allowing him to adapt. He's not coming in to fix any problems that's for sure but there is no plan to send him out on loan, he will be with us, acclimatising and settling in.”

Graham Potter: “It's quite easy to look at the results from over the last month as being quite favourable, but I've been delighted with the players over the course of the season. The group have stuck together and worked really hard. I'd say we've been a bit unlucky because the performances have probably warranted more points than they've got.”

Klopp: 'Really strange' situation led to Kabak and Davies signings

19.35
It's been some week for Davies. He must be still pinching himself after swapping Preston for the Premier League champions. Here's what he had to say after completing his deadline-day move: "I want to come in and play games to start with, I want to get my foot in the door and make myself a Premier League player rather than obviously a Championship player. And then take it from there really. I know we’ve got some top players here and players I can certainly learn from. Hopefully I can take my chance and then move forward with it."
