Klopp on United’s 10 changes v Leicester: “It is not the fault of Ole and the players. My question to myself was: 'would I have done the same? Yes'. You have to. You have to. We are late in the season, all the players played a lot of games. United went to the Europa League final so that means an awful lot of games and now you get Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday. That is not possible."

It's been confirmed that supporters have now been dispersed from around the Lowry hotel area and police just need to co-ordinate safely getting the squads to the ground. There is no update on this happening at present though so the wait goes on as to whether we'll actually see some football this evening.

The 18.30 BST kick off time that was rumoured earlier is going to be cutting it fine if there's no movement in terms of the team hotels very soon. It's simply a waiting game at the moment. It'd be interesting to see at what it would be deemed too late to continue tonight....
17.00
And still we wait for some news. There are suggestions that there remain supporters around the team hotels and therefore the two squads still haven't departed for the ground. Surely a decision about kick off needs to made imminently here.
16.55
Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville are making an interesting point about the players on Sky Sports. They are saying it's not ideal to gauge a pre-match meal, sit around for hours and get the right mindset following such a lengthy disruption. Some will no doubt want to just get on with it, but that won't be the case for everyone. They could suggest coming back the following day, but given the intensity of schedules (United visit Roma on Thursday) no one will want that.
16.50
There has been an announcement inside Old Trafford stating that the ground is now secure and people can return to their respective areas of work. Still no news on the team arrivals yet.
16.45
Some supporters are suggesting the manner of the protests wasn't the way to do it. However, others are claiming that less drastic approaches in the past have fallen on deaf ears. Fans wants the owners to hear them and whatever you think of it, delaying kick off for one of the biggest games in the season certainly gets attention.
16.40
It seems there is more optimism that this match will go ahead at some point this evening. It's being reported that the PL are determined to make it happen. Once we have confirmation of a potential kick off time, we'll post it in this live.
