FT Sheffield United 0-1 Leeds — It's all over and Leeds have won it late through Patrick Bamford's header. Sheffield Utd had their chances but couldn't convert, and were faced with the resilient Illan Meslier in the Leeds goal. Leeds win this Yorkshire derby.

GOAL! Sheffield Utd 0-1 Leeds - Bamford scores! It's surely a late Leeds winner here. Harrison produces a fantastic cross from the left and Bamford beats Ramsdale with a looping header.

We're heading for a 0-0 here. Some big moments in the game for both sides, but time is running out.

Leeds keeper Meslier is caught by Baldock's lunge and both players have come off injured there. Baldock was entitled to go for the ball but he caught Meslier on the thigh. After some treatment, both are able to continue.

What a miss by Robinson! Sheffield United should have the lead as the corner comes in from the right, misses everyone except for Robinson who emerges from a scrum of bodies but can only put it wide from two yards out.

Baldock cuts in from the right and drills a shot at goal, which deflects off Phillips and is out for a corner for the hosts.

Chance for Leeds on the break. Poveda leads the charge and tests Ramsdale with a decent shot but the Sheffield Utd keeper parries it away.

Sheffield Utd double sub: McBurnie and Sharp on, McGoldrick and Burke off.

Rodrigo finds a little space on the edge of the box and goes for a curling effort, but Ramsdale saves it comfortably.

Ampadu is a little groggy after that but looks able to continue.

Ampadu is struck in the head with the ball from close range. He goes down and play is immediately stopped.

Cooper makes an important block from Osborn, who had taken up a great position.

Baldock is booked, somewhat harshly, for a foul on Dallas.

Leeds sub: Poveda on, Costa off.

Rodrigo heads just wide after a powerful run down the left and very good cross.

Sheffield Utd sub: Norwood on, Lundstram off.

Off the line! Basham gets it off the line for Sheffield United after Dallas rounded the keeper following Basham's own mistake. But he atoned for his error.

Meslier has to get down to deny Stevens, whose low shot from the edge of the box was the result of a nice intricate move by the hosts.

Ayling makes a crucial interception in front of his own goal to deny McGoldrick, who threw himself at Basham's cross.

Klich goes down after a fair challenge by Robinson, but when the ball comes near him he jumps up and drills a shot at goal which Ramsdale saves. Miraculous recovery!

The game is opening up now. Both sides recognise that the win is there for them.

Early chance after the restart for Costa, who lashes a volley at goal after McGoldrick's headed clearance reached him. Ramsdale makes a solid stop from Costa's sizzling shot.

SECOND HALF. We're back underway with Leeds making a change at the break. Rodrigo is on, Roberts makes way.

HT Sheffield United 0-0 Leeds - Goalless at the break but this half has been about the saves from the keepers. Meslier made two world-class stops to deny Lundstram and Baldock, while Ramsdale's fine save denied Dallas.

Strong run by Burke from the left, which ultimately sees his shot charged down by Koch. But McGoldrick was open for the pass and isn't happy he didn't receive it.

Ampadu goes down in the box claiming he was pushed by Dallas. There was a little bit of pushing, but not enough to warrant a penalty.

Baldock's powerful drive is denied by another superb Meslier save. What a performance by the 20-year-old Leeds keeper.

Great save by Ramsdale! Dallas drives forward and scoops the ball towards the top corner, but Ramsdale flings himself to his right to keep it out. Another fine save in this game.

Sheffield Utd have grown into the game and are starting to look like an attacking force. Burke starting to find pockets of space behind Ayling.

Burke gets beyond Ayling and drives into the box, but his shot is blocked well by Cooper.

Missed chance for Leeds as Bamford heads over from about 12 yards after a great delivery by Harrison. It wasn't far off, but Bamford should really have got that on target.

What a save Meslier! Unbelievable stop by the Leeds keeper as Osborn fires in a low cross from the left to Lundstram, who seemed certain to score but Meslier pulls off a fantastic save low to his right. Lundstram did everything right with his shot - just a stunning save.

Lundstram whips in a free-kick and Berge goes for an ambitious diving header, but fails to make a proper contact.

Leeds work the ball down the left to Klich, who takes a touch and then goes for goal from distance, but it deflects off a Sheffield Utd defender and loops into Ramsdale's arms.

Chance for Leeds. Phillips fizzes in a fine free-kick into the box and it finds Bamford, who can't quite get over it enough and sends his header just over.

That's the best we've seen of Sheffield Utd so far.

Sheffield Utd on the attack for the first time. Burke backheels it to Osborn, whose dangerous cross is brilliantly cleared by Harrison at the far post.

The hosts just can't keep the ball, and you fear they will be punished sooner or later in this game.

Ampadu gets forward from defence to join the attack and almost manages to thread the ball through to McGoldrick, but he can't quite find the Blades skipper.

John Lundstrum finds some space down the right but Koch reads it well to make the clearance.

Not too much to talk about so far, but Leeds look the more likely to make the breakthrough.

Costa puts in a deep cross but it was just too deep for Harrison at the far post.

The home side just can't keep the ball. It's all Leeds at the moment.

Promising move by Sheffield Utd but McGoldrick's cross is cut out by Klich, who got an important touch there. First time we've seen the hosts as an attacking force.

Leeds hounding Sheffield United for the ball at every opportunity, all over the pitch. Absolutely relentless.

McGoldrick is absolutely clattered by Phillips, who gets an immediate yellow card. Billy Bremner would have been proud of that one.

Great effort by Ayling! The defender twists and turns and goes for goal from distance and Ramsdale is forced to save it low to his right.

A positive start by Leeds though.

First opportunity falls to Leeds after a wonderful through ball by Klich to Harrison, but he misses the chance to take an early shot and then fails to dig out an accurate cross.

Both teams chasing the ball like an Under 9's game at the moment. Neither team yet to settle.

KICK OFF. We're underway in this Yorkshire derby.

The players are out. It's almost time to go!

It's a big game for Sheffield United though. They're the only Premier League team not to have scored a goal yet, and their five-game losing streak (including last season) is their worst league run since September 2013.

And it's the last top-flight meeting between these sides since March 1994, which ended 2-2 at Bramall Lane.

It's not often you get a Yorkshire derby in the Premier League. The last time it happened was in May 2001, when Leeds beat Bradford 6-1.

Marcelo Bielsa makes just one change from the side that beat Fulham 4-3. Tyler Roberts comes into the starting XI in place of club record signing Rodrigo.

For Sheffield United it's three changes from the side that lost 1-0 to Aston Villa. Ethan Ampadu, Jack Robinson and Ben Osborn come in. It's Ampadu's first Premier League start for the Blades.

LEEDS UNITED XI: Meslier; Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Dallas; Phillips; Costa, Roberts, Klich, Harrison; Bamford. SUBS: Caprile, Alioski, Davis, Shackleton, Struijk, Poveda, Rodrigo.

SHEFFIELD UNITED XI: Ramsdale; Baldock, Basham, Ampadu, Robinson, Stevens; Lundstram, Berge, Osborn; Burke, McGoldrick (c). SUBS: Foderingham, Sharp, McBurnie, Jagielka, Norwood, Fleck, Lowe.
