Tuchel challenges his young full back.
19:54
Just two of Chelsea’s 17 Premier League managers have lost their first ever London derby in the competition (W9 D6), with Guus Hiddink losing 0-1 at Spurs in March 2009 and Andre Villas-Boas 0-1 at QPR in October 2011. No pressure, then.

Will the youngster enjoy a new lease of life under Tuchel?
19:45
One of Tuchel's many tasks will be to sort out the Blues' woes on the road. Chelsea have lost four of their last five away league games (W1), as many as they had in their previous 16 on the road (W7 D5).

UNHAPPY REUNION: Tottenham manager José Mourinho hasn’t won any of his last six meetings with Chelsea in all competitions (D3 L3). Only against Barcelona (7 between April 2011-January 2012) has he had a longer winless run against an opponent in his managerial career.

Preparations under way.
19:30
Tottenham have lost two of their last three home league games against Chelsea (W1), more than they had in their previous 11 (W5 D5 L1). They haven’t lost consecutive home league games against the Blues since a run of three between April 2004-August 2005. Chelsea are unbeaten in their last four Premier League meetings with Spurs (W3 D1), keeping a clean sheet in three of these games.

BALE DROPS OUT; SYSTEM CHANGE FOR CHELSEA: With Harry Kane remaining in the treatment room, Carlos Vinicius is handed his first Premier League start, with Gareth Bale back on the bench. My word has that move not worked out so far. Chelsea, however, have switched to a 3-4-3 system with Reece James coming in for Tammy Abraham. Timo Werner will be the lone striker, with Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi on the flanks.
