Vitinha takes the corner, but West Brom manage to clear the ball away

SAVE!!! Fábio Silva strikes the ball so well from distance but Johnstone equal to it as puts it out for a corner

SAVE! What a save from Patrício, he reads the cross so well and gets down low to save Gallagher shot from in side the box. If he chose to lift the ball over the keeper it would be 1-1. West Brom are pushing for the goal now

SAVE! A great break by West Brom, Pereira is in on goal and chooses to square it to Townsend who shoots straight at Patrício

The corner comes in, but Wolves clear their lines. West Brom need to make the most of these set-piece situations

Furlong hits a low hard cross and Coady gets a foot on it to put it out for a corner

Fábio Silva is unlucky there as he's deemed to have brought down Townsend who delayed on the ball, the Wolves striker was in on goal. A real left off there for West Brom

Vitinha delivers the free kick but it's cleared away by West Brom

Otasowie runs the West Brom defence and Phillips bring him down for a Wolves free kick

Fábio Silva does well to get his head on the cross, but can't get enough power on it as Johnstone makes a simple save

  • 2nd Half

Wolves the second half underway

There's change at half time. Mike Dean is taking over as Paul Tierney has picked up an injury

  • End of 1st Half

Half time at The Hawthorn as Wolves take the lead just before the break, but they certianly deserved something given how they controlled the half. Allardyce will need to rally his players during the break if they are to get anything out of this game

  • Fábio Silva
GoalFábio SilvaWolverhampton WanderersGOAAAAAAL!!! Fábio Silva grabs a goal just before half time. He's been sharp all game, and gets a lot of luck with the goal as it bounces off him from a Bartley clearance. It loops over the Johnstone and into the net

Two minutes of added time to played

Up the other end it's poor decision making from Traoré who chooses to shoot rather than play his team mates in. But his shot is tame and makes for a simple save for Johnstone

CHANCE!! Ajayi wins a corner for West Brom. Which is taken short, it's then hit to the back post and Diagne gets a head on it, but it's cleared away by Saïss

Wolves have been dominant in this first half and asked plenty of questions, but they haven't made their chances count

Neves is back on his feet as he looks to shake off his knock

Neves is down and looks in some pain. He came together with Pereira as he tried to clear the ball away. They really don't want to lose one of their most experienced players

One way traffic at The Hawthorns as Wolves dominate possession. West Brom have just seen 3% of the ball in the Wolves half

Another save from Johnstone. It's a good strike from Vitinha. The West Brom keeper puts it out for another corner. The ball then comes in and Saïss is frist to it, but it goes over.

SAVE!!!! Johnstone makes a brilliant one handed save from Semedo's shot in side the box after an awful Ajayi mistake

Good work from Aït-Nouri again, he bursts forward again and sees space open up in front of him, he shoots from outside the box, but can't generate enough power to trouble Johnstone

Sustained pressure from Wolves as they look to cut open West Brom with a killer pass, but Neves chooses to shoot from range and it's hit over the bar

Good work from Traoré again as he delivers a low cross which finds Otasowie in the box, but his shot is block and West Brom scramble the ball away

West Brom win a free kick in a decent area. Pereira sends in decent cross, but Ajayi just can't get decent contact on the header with Traoré putting him under pressure

Much better from West Brom now as push forward in numbers hunting for what could be a vital opening goal

Wolves pulling West Brom from left to right as they look to work an opening. Aït-Nouri shimmies his way into to box, but is eventually shut out by the Baggies defence. Good work from the young wingback

Good hold up play from Diagne who finds Furlong on the edge of the box, but he drags the shot wide of the post

Up the other end it's a corner for Wolves. Vitinha takes it and Saïss wins the header, luckily it was straight at Johnstone. West Brom's marking was non existent

Vitinha takes the free kick, but it's over hit and doesn't cause Johnstone any issues

Otasowie wins a free kick in a good area for Wolves

  • 1st Half

Referee Paul Tierney gets the game under way and West Brom kick off

Both team are getting ready to make their way out on the pitch as kick-off less than five minutes away

Nuno's side haven't been quick at starting games this season, in fact no side has scored fewer goals in the opening 15 minutes of Premier League games this season than Wolves (3). Two of Wolves' three goals in this period came in their first game of the season at Sheffield United.

In the lead up to the game, Allerdyce made it clear that they won't be throwing the towel in until it's mathematically impossible for the Baggies to stay up "We’ll keep on fighting and three points against our rivals just up the road would keep our slim hopes alive."

The points to game ratio just hasn't been good enough for West Brom this season, they have only picked up 25 points from their 33 matches this term

Wolves have been a difficult side to predict on their travels this season, winning five, drawing four and losing seven of their 16 Premier League fixtures away from Molineux

West Brom will come into tonight's game with optimism, as they have won their last three league games against Wolves, last winning more consecutively against their Midlands rivals between 1929-1932 (6)

It's a season that has faded out for Wolves, a record of 11 wins, eight draws and 14 defeats from 33 matches has left them in 12th position in the table. With their exciting brand of football, expectations are always high for Nuno's side, so missing out on European football next season will be disappointing

West Brom fans will be looking to their in-form forward Pereira this evening, he has been involved in six goals in his last four Premier League games (4 goals, 2 assists). The Brazilian also scored twice in the Baggies' 3-2 win against Wolves in the reverse fixture

And here is the side that Nuno has selected to take the derby day bragging rights:

Rui Patrício, Saïss, Coady, Otasowie, Nélson Semedo, Dendoncker, Neves, Aït-Nouri, Vitinha, Traoré, Fábio Silva

Willy Boly is not in the matchday squad. Vitinha is preferred to Daniel Podence, while Fabio Silva comes in for Willan Jose, Owen Otaswowie also comes in to the starting line-up

Here is how West Brom are set out

Johnstone, Ajayi, O'Shea, Bartley, Furlong, Gallagher, Yokuslu, Maitland-Niles, Townsend, Costa Pereira, Diagne

Allardyce has made one change to his starting XI with defender Dara O’Shea replacing forward Callum Robinson

Last time these two sides met back in January Albion came from behind to claim victory as two penalties from Matheus Pereira helped them beat Wolves at Molineux. It was only the Baggies' second win of the season and their first under new boss Allardyce
