It’s all over in Stratford and West Ham move up into seventh in the league, leapfrogging Southampton and Chelsea. It’s exactly what their performance deserved. West Brom showed fight and occasional flashes of quality, but Sam Allardyce has his work cut out if he’s to get this squad out of relegation trouble.

The final whistle goes and Big Sam shakes the hand of David Moyes before heading down the tunnel as bubbles float around the London Stadium.

West Brom go for a long throw in the third minute of stoppage time and there are desperate calls for a penalty as Gallagher collapses to the ground. The referee is having absolutely none of it though and books the West Brom man… with replays suggesting he was spot on.

Was that the chance?! I think it might have been the chance! Furlong makes a terrific run across the face of the defence to meet a low cross into the box, but he doesn’t quite wrap his foot around it enough and his effort flies agonisingly wide. Big Sam yells out in frustration, very nearly causing his heavily-chewed gum to fly out onto the turf.

A deep cross into the box is coolly dealt with by Coufal and West Ham clear. It’s been a bit of a shift since Antonio’s departure, with West Ham having no obvious focal point, allowing the Baggies more of a chance to get a foothold in the game.

Can West Brom create a chance to get something out of this game? They badly need to build on that win against Wolves last time out and try to claw their way back towards safety, but it’s not looking good right now

Antonio's excellent shift comes to an end and Mark Noble is introduced to add some experience in midfield.

Bowen and Cresswell work it nicely down the left, but there’s not much to aim for and the Baggies clear.

On comes a focal point for the Baggies as they chase a result, with Robson-Kanu introduced for Livermore.

It’s a rare chance for West Brom, but a decent one. A header back to the edge of the box finds Gallagher, but he slices across it and his shot lacks the power to trouble Fabianski.

West Ham counter through the excellent Antonio as West Brom commit their big men forward for another set-piece, but the attack peters out before Rice fires over with a speculative effort from range.

Soucek is caught in the box, but there wasn’t much in it despite the West Ham man’s protests and VAR decides it wasn’t a penalty.

Another free-kick in their own half is thumped long by West Brom but it floats over all of the defenders who’d gone forward and drifts behind for a goal-kick. Back to Plan A for Sam Allardyce then I guess.

Yarmolenko stings the palms of the keeper as West Ham push for a third.

GOOOAAALLL!!! The goal was coming and it’s Michail Antonio who’s got it. Yarmolenko, fresh off the bench, heads a Cresswell cross back into the middle and Antonio reacts quickly to volley home under pressure from two defenders. A full deserved goal for West Ham and they have their lead back. 2-1.

The ball won’t quite sit for Bowen as West Ham work it into space inside the box again. The hosts are bossing this now and you feel like a goal is coming.

Fornals and Yarmolenko come on to replace Lanzini and Benrahma.

The Hammers are playing some lovely football in patches, but David Moyes did say that some of his players might be struggling for fitness tonight and it looks like we’re about to see some changes to the forward line.

How close is that! West Ham take a free-kick quick and Declan Rice gets on the end of a slide-rule pass before firing a shot across the face of goal and narrowly wide of the far post. The Hammers have really stepped it up since the equaliser.
