Mac Allister's deflected effort is pushed behind by Kepa. From the corner, a bullet header from the unmarked Webster into tbe roof of the net, that was unstoppable.

ALONSO BOOKED:

Alonso cautioned for tripping Lamptey after he had gallopsed past him.

The red has some words with Alonso after a tussle with Lamptey. The corner at the near post is headed clear by Lukaku.

NICE MOVE:

Lukaku holds it up well, finds Mount who threads it through to Ziyech but the pass is overhit and the keeper gathers.

Lamptey skins Alonso and his cross is blocked by Silva. The corner comes off Webster's chest and Kepa gathers.

CHELSEA CORNER:

Jorginho's cross is blocked for a corner. The cross is cleared to ziyech utside the box and his shot is charged down.

Straight away, Mac Allister threads it through to Welbeck in the box and from a tightish angle his effort is off target.

KICK OFF: We are back underway.

HALF TIME: A Brighton corner is cleared and the whistle goes. A fine low strike from distance from Ziyech has given Chelsea the lead. They Blues have looked disjointed though for most of the half. Brighton have had some bright moments but have yet to register a shot on target.

Lukaku tees up Hudson-Odoi who lashes it over from inside the area. Poor effort.

Lukaku and Ziyech exchanging words after the Moroccan's pass was overhit. The Belgian was not happy.

Brighton have had plenty of possession in the Chelsea half but need to work things through the middle more. They have fired in a few cross to little avail so far.

Silva looks to have shaken off that earlier knock. Him and Rudiger have been solid as usual.
