A fine performance from Chelsea, who will be very hard to stop this season, and a very display from Leicester. Thanks for following the game with us.

The game is petering out now and you feel Leicester are the happier side to settle for this scoreline.

GOAL DISALLOWED! A wonderful goal from James is ruled out after a one-two with Ziyech due to Chilwell being offside earlier in the move.

Another fine save from Mendy whose long-range effort was deflected off Kante but the Chelsea stopper pushed away.

The first worrying moment of the day for Chelsea as Jorginho seems to have a tight hamstring. He is replaced by Loftus-Cheek.

OFFSIDE GOAL! Leicester have thrown the towel in, but Pulisic was offside when Ziyech's deflected shot came to him so his square ball and Hudson-Odoi's easy finish were ruled spurious.

GOAL FOR CHELSEA! The subs combine to put the game beyond any doubt there was. A fine run from Chalobah sees him play Ziyech in on the right flank and then he toys with Soyuncu before passing to Pulisic in the middle and though his first touch is not perfect he can slide the ball home with his second.

Pulisic runs to the near post and is found by a brilliant inswinging low ball from Ziyech but pushes wide of the near post.

Mendy is booked for dallying over taking a goal kick

A lovely ball from Maddison finds Vardy at the far post but he heads wide of the target.

What a save! Amartey fires a strike from 35 yards which Mendy, who has had so little to do, flies high to his left to top over the bar.

Havertz and Mount are replaced by Pulisic and Ziyech.

Chilwell is found behind the Leicester defence by a perfect long ball from Chalobah but Albrighton tracks him across the field and dispossesses him.

It certainly is a more even second half after the changes from Rodgers but Leicester still not really threatening.

Great save from Schmeichel. Thiago Silva puts a great ball over the top for Hudson-Odoi who passes back to Chilwell and his low drive is tipped wide by the Leicester keeper.

Immediately, Maddison puts through Vardy on the left flank but his ball across the box is soft and enables Mendy to gather comfortably.

Leicester get the second half underway...

Leicester have made two attacking substitutions with Iheanacho and Maddison coming on for Lookman and Barnes.

A two-goal lead for Chelsea and it should be even more.

A second poor free kick from this range as James just shoots into the wall.
