A lovely clipped reverse ball frmo Lindelof into Rashford, and he pulls it back for Ronaldo, but the left-footed drive is held well by Guaita.

More United pressure, recycled through the central defenders.

Dalot's inswinging cross from the right is in towards Ronaldo, but his looping header is over the top.

Kouyate deals with it well ahead of Ronaldo.

Fernandes... beautiful ball towards Ronaldo, no offside, but Guehi recovers well to concede the corner.

A wayward pass from Gallagher goes out for the United throw; the press is working again.

A loose pass by McTominay is seized upon and Benteke gives chase, but Lindelof cleans up well.

Zaha's delivery comes to nothing as Tomkins fouls Lindelof.

Corner, Palace. Won by Zaha after teasing Victor Lindelof.

Really good tempo set from United. They're moving it much more quickly, and Fernandes' clipped cross is claimed well by Guaita.

Rashford is fouled trying to dart between the lines again, and he's brought down by a combination of Schlupp and Ayew.

A nice piece of interplay from Palace as Ayew finds Zaha, who cuts inside, playing off Benteke, and the shot from range is held well by de Gea.

Another win high up the pitch for United; it's Dalot stepping into midfield, and the ball comes for Ronaldo who gets the space on the edge of the area, and his curling left-footed cross-shot just evades the flying Fernandes at the far post.

More of an intuative approach on the ball from United. They're quicker and freer on the move, and there's more willingness to play the ball forwards instead of back and sideways.

Sancho and Fernandes have switched sides as the counterpress works for them yet again. McTominay wins it high and Ronaldo recycles; here comes another attacking phase from the hosts.

A fantastic counterpress from United, and Gallagher's last ditch interception is well timed ahead of Ronaldo. Gallagher is there again to clear the resulting corner.

A neatly worked corner short to Rashford, and it's worked out to Telles on the edge of the area, but the touch isn't great and his rushed shot is wide.

A darting run from Rashford down the left channel wins the corner off James Tomkins. Good energy from the number 10.

An early observation is Rashford and Ronaldo are up top together in the early exchanges; Sancho and Fernandes are tucked just behind left and right respectively.
