Southampton are in front. Tottenham can’t clear, a cross comes in from the right from Ward-Prowse and Adams heads home from eight yards.

Southampton draw level for a second time. Elyounoussi drifts in between defenders and guides in a brilliant whipped cross from Ward-Prowse.

Winks hesitates and gifts the ball to Broja who drives forward and shoots from 20 yards, but it flies over the bar.

Confusion as Saints are furious about a challenge from Royal on Broja in the lead-up to the goal. Saints feel Spurs should have kicked the ball out and Coote stop play for a head injury. Neither happened and the goal has been allowed to stand. Broja is finally up on his feet.

A brilliant move from Tottenham. The heat was turned up in the past five minutes. Kane threads the ball in the right channel to Lucas who whips a great cross into Son who turns it home in expert fashion.

Davies does well to get his head in the way of a piledriver from Ward-Prowse. It was travelling.

Kane is felled in the box by a poor challenge from Bednarek, but the officials are saved a decision by an offside flag.
