GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! Firmino has a third tap in after Williams beats Rose on the right wing and slides a ball across the six-yard box which gifts the Brazilian a hat-trick.
A good cross from the right flank from Ngakia gives Sarr a chance to head at goal but he cannot hit the target. Amazing that Watford now look like a reasonable side having given such a poor account of themselves early on.
Great stop from Kelleher as Sarr drives towards the near post and the stand-in Liverpool keeper pushed the ball against the woodwork.
Milner is replaced by Williams after a fine game from the veteran.
A chance for Pedro who lobbed the ball over the Liverpool keeper but wide of the goal - and, yes, he was offside anyway.
The ball comes to Sarr just outside the box but he fires over the bar.
A genuine chance for Waford that would not have been ruled out for offside, Sissoko battled through the middle of the park and set up Hernandez who curled the ball towards the back post but not enough to reach inside the far post.
Mane misses a sitter! Rose loses the ball in the left back position to Firmino who sends a perfect cross for Mane at the far post but he shins the ball wide of the target.
A chance for Watford but Tsimikas blocks Hernandez's shot - and once more it would have been ruled out for offside anyway.
Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are replaced by Tsimikas and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Alexander-Arnold shoots from outside the box but his effort is blocked by Rose.
Mane has a lot of time to hit a half-volley but shoots high over the bar.
Ngakia has come on for Kiko.
GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! Salah with remarkable feet in the penalty area, getting the ball just inside the 18-yard box, he beat three players before dragging back on the edge of the six-yard box and scoring past Foster inside the far post.
It is controversial because Salah was in an offside position but because he did not touch the ball the goal stands, although his positioning was the reason Cathcart had to act in the way he did.
GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! Firmino with another tap in. Robertson's low cross towards Salah was diverted by the sliding Cathcart to Foster's right and he could only parry the ball into the path of the Brazilian striker.
A trademark Salah shot from just inside the right hand side of the penalty area curling into the top left hand corner is tipped wide by Foster.
Firmino finds Alexander-Arnold thirty yards from goal but he skews his shot wide of the target.
Watford get the second half underway...
Cleverly has come on for Massina for Watford.
There have been bigger half time scores this season, but it is hard to believe there has been a more dominant team at the mid-point of a game than Liverpool are here.
Matip wins a header from a corner which Watford clear but then got a poke in the eye which will delay the game.
Keita is given all day to shoot from 25 yards out and his effort flicks the heel of Massina before clipping the bar with Foster beaten.
GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! Fine combination between Firmino and Mane, sees Milner through in the left hand side of the six-yard box and he squares for Firmino to tap into an empty net.
Salah knows he has the beating of Danny Rose all day but Sissoko does well to get back and dispossess him.
A fine outside of the ball pass from Alexander-Arnold almost gets Salah through on goal but Troost-Ekong defends well.
Sarr plays through Hernandez who again was clearly offside but Alexander-Arnold got back to stymie his shot at goal anyhow.
For the first time Sarr got behind the Liverpool defence, but he then dallied on the ball for ten seconds before the linesman raised his flag for being offside when he made the initial run - something all the players in the vicinity knew already. A strange snapshot of the new law.
Salah was through on goal on the right after a wonderful ball from Trent Alexander-Arnold but his touch is heavy and Foster is able to make a sliding clearance.
Milner and Salah both didn't quite find the ball dropping for them to shoot in the penalty area after good work from Mane on the left.
Annoys me the way they stop the game when it touches the referee now. Just seems a pointless addition to the game - like not having to kick the ball forward from the kickoff.
Watford can barely get the ball out of their half, this could be 6 or 7 unless Klopp takes players off to rest them for Madrid in midweek.
GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! It has been coming. A fantastic ball for Salah, after he eased Danny Rose out on the right flank, behind the Watford defence and Mane hit it first time with his right foot giving Ben Foster no chance.
All Liverpool early on, Watford need to ride out this storm. Sissoko does well to stop Salah as he was racing into the box.
Off the bar! Mane flicked on for Salah and from a narrow angle in the penalty area he smashed the ball against the woodwork...but the flag had gone up for Mane being offside initially.
Liverpool get us underway...
A first start for Cucho Hernandez for Watford today, amazingly over four years since he signed for them - he has spent most of this time on loan in Spain at Huesca, Mallorca and Getafe.
Yes, I know Dalglish and Gerrard probably are ahead of Barnes but if you watched him from 1987-1991 you'd know he very much deserves to be in the conversation.
A lovely feature on arguably Watford and Liverpool's best ever player...
What a stat this is to give Hornets hope...
Nice insight on the Watford xi from a supporter and local journo...
The absence of Alisson and Fabinho gives the Hornets some hope ahead of this match. Both travelling directly to Spain from Brazil to get ready for the Champions League match against Atletico on Tuesday.
And this is Claudio Ranieri's first Watford xi...
This is the side Jurgen Klopp is sending out at Vicarage Road.
