Watford v Norwich City - Premier League latest

Norwich certainly had more joy early on, but Watford are slowly growing into the game and starting to produce chances.

Jacob Sorensen is going to have to be replaced. He landed awkwardly after clashing with Cleverley and has been struggling for a few minutes now. Kenny McLean comes on in his place.

It's a dodgy off-the-ball challenge but he's escaped a booking. He'll certainly be on his last warning after that one...

Pukki attemts to find his strike partner with a cross but he can't get it off the floor and Watford clear.

Sissoko plays a weak ball into the middle of the pitch on the edge of the Watford penalty area, which is picked up by Sargent. He cuts inside and gets a shot away but it's over the bar. Sloppy from the host's.

Idah is looking lively down the left hand side, whilst Sargent and Pukki are making runs in behind on the opposite flank. Watford doing well so far to keep them at bay.

It's been a promising opening five minutes with both teams starting fast, we're expecting goals tonight!

He struck it well and with force, but couldn't beat the Watford wall.

Adam Idah is fouled on the edge of the box by Sissoko.

Straight from kick-off Norwich launch the ball forward and try and put the Hornets under pressure, but Watford deal with it well.

Watford sit in 17th, just a point above the drop zone, whilst Norwich occupy 18th place.

The Hornets have two games in hand on tonight's opponents, but a loss this evening would see the sides switch places. Watford would fall into the bottom three whilst Norwich finally with their heads above water for the first time this season.

Three points for the home side though will make great reading for Hornet's fans. They would go four points clear of the releagtion places.

Ben Foster and Craig Cathcart miss out altogether for Watford due to illness.

Angus Gunn replaces the injured Tim Krul, whilst Kenny McLean is back amongst the subs on the Norwich bench.
